I know people say this is a stupid comment by me, but we have to get rid of Guidolin now. if we have any hope of remaining in this league we have to get a manger in who can get these players playing, they are not as bad as this and last weeks showing. I simply have no confidence in Guidolin and I don't think the players do. Why have they left fer on the pitch he has been pathetic and has zero engine. I have had enough of this and our manager.
Yes...take off one of the few guys in the team capable of scoring a goal. Completely disagree. Who is going to take a free kick for god's sake?
Some on this forum were saying don't worry about this season, and that we're not any weaker than last season as we've only got rid of deadwood and players who didn't suit our style. What say you now ?
Guys what the last 2 weeks have shown, we need Leon on the pitch he is the only one who can control our game, It has to be Leon, Cork and Siggy as the middle 3. How sad is it we have to rely and an old amn for spirit and guidance.
But Kiff Siggy has given about 3 balls away to Leicester today. So to score we need to be getting the ball in a position to score. Hopefully Monty will do that.
The issue is we haven't strengthened where others have, we have the same midfield as last year, our back 4 is worse with the loss of Ash and we don't know if we have improved up top yet. So I agree we are weaker in terms of the squad.
Siggy isn't alone in having a poor game. Fer for one. Only Barrow and Fab can hold their heads up imo. You don't take off a guy who can get you a goal when you're two down and is your only specialist free kick taker.
But Fer cant move he is so unfit, he doesn't get about at the start of the game and is shot by 60 mins.
