Game over. 3 - 0 I will try to channel my anger into a decent weekend. Hull 0-2 down now. Relying on other results. Enjoy the weekend all.
If Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull are relegated it will save Watford fans some travelling expenses. Oh, I forgot about Newcastle.
My mate who supports Leicester texted me this yesterday: 'Now then, my mate who sits behind the dugouts with his lad was watching your boss and he said he didn't have a clue what to do, in fact he told one of your subs a big black guy with dreads to get ready and he said he ain't going on, kicked off a bit and matterazi put someone else on instead and told dread boy, he's finished - don't seem a happy camp. What's happened to Troy ? I replied with this: 'Many fans not happy with style of football, manager not speaking English, doesn't make changes early enough. The black guy was Success who has been an impact sub mostly, manager claims not been fit enough to start for most of season. Troy's OK, just living off scraps at moment. Second time on bench. Similar style to Okaka who played yesterday. Some talk of rift between Deeney and manager and that one way or another one will go in summer. Clearly if that is the case, the vast majority would have Deeney staying as he does so much more than just on pitch. Pundits would love that, another manager change! But on the flip side to all this, Premier League for another season despite a massive injury list all season including our creative players and, above all, the owners know how to run a club and all fans trust them. They've still not really put a foot wrong. One thing for sure I think there will be more changes in the summer, owners have just got to think where they want to take the club next and with whom.' Was I about right, and what do you think of Mazzarri's behaviour if true?
According to Jon Marks, Success did a fitness test with the medical staff during the warm up period. It sounded very confused with Mazzarri wanting to put him on, but the medics said no, and Jon wondered just what is the communication like between them all. He was going on what he could see, and couldn't hear any conversation, but what language do they use in the dugout?
Tenth away game of the season for me.... and I suspect the last until August / September. Threatened without really threatening as someone (Mex?) posted earlier kinda summed it up. The booing of Amrabat was sheer frustration, but unacceptable all the same. He has not had a good time since his injury. Prodl, then Capoue contrived to give away the first between them; Mapp's the second... just woeful stuff from my view. No silly free kicks and no mucking about in your own penalty area. The QSF and Boothroyd chants were, frankly, embarrassing... even more so than events on the pitch and in the current dug out. Not entirely confident now that we'll avoid the drop. It would help if Chelsea have the title sown up by the time we're there. Of course a draw between Palace and Hull saves our bacon, as would Sunderland getting a draw v Swansea. We could quite conceivably lose our remaining games by a minimum of two or three. Utterly toothless up-front. If it goes to the last game and we've lost by several at Chelsea and Everton then we are going to be properly in the mire.
