Well that's it now there wont be any coming back now......We will see you in the Championship then......
Chin up lads ...football is a fickle mistress...Easter Monday 2008 I sat in the home end watching our lot away at Hereford United on the way to winning the League One title ... fast forward to 2017 and I'll be watching us playing Atletico Madrid in the quarter finals of the UCL ...sometimes you have to eat the humble pie to come back the stronger ...if you do go down...which looks likely tbf ... with the parachute, fan base etc I would put money on you to return quickly, all the stronger ... Why Kazri is not starting is a mystery mind ...
I got a new tattoo yesterday which took 4 hours of pain - so much so that I completely forgot about our game!! was 9:35 before I remembered!! All things said - seems we played a lot better yesterday reading the stats and reports - too little too late (agree about Jones mind - think he'll do well in the championship_
Fosse is right. As harsh and horrible as it might sound, going down will probably do you lot the world of good. There is plenty of rotten deadwood at Sunderland. Getting rid of the likes of Cattermole, Jones, Anichebe, Gibson and Larsson might hurt you for a season or two but replacing them with talented and hardworking youngsters willing to prove a point is what we did and we've not looked back. Oh and you need shot of Moyes. Absolutely disastrous manager. Some of you might hate the idea but you'd be right with Nigel Pearson. He'd get you back within a couple of years with a completely fresh team. All the best lads, sorry to say but I think you're doomed however it's not the end of the world chins up.
