If it was that simple and straightforward Aski everyone would screaming for Llorente to play. Also Firpo played a lot of games last season when we were putting out weakened teams due to injuries.
I'm not denying any of your points Jammy, although does the same not count when Firpo was not playing, we were still fielding teams weakened by injury I just included the other main 3 defenders from last season for comparison. Thus I was surprised that Aylings stats were very similar to Firpo's with regards to how results ended up. I don't think anyone on here bases any reliance upon the figures I quote in my various stats posts, they may take comfort from them on occasions, but I just like to compile stats, and am surprised how many times my own opinion differs from what the numerical data shows
