Don’t worry aski. Vic has a legendary scouting network. The guy whose ‘shot went out for a throw’ will have been noticed, if he ticks any more boxes; ‘runs a lot’, ‘injury prone’, ‘likes to hit blind passes across his own box’ … then we can expect a cheeky bid in January
I think if we do the festa fox’s that’s Rodger’s gone I think, there is no reason why we can’t pick up from where we left off on Sunday.
Just my opinion - Lose this one and we are going to be a bottom three team under Jesse We can't keep saying "play like we did, and results will come" because they're not. We need two wins on the bounce now as we are not getting much from Liverpool, then we have two more games Bournemouth and Wolves before the Spurs game. Jesse has five games that we could and need to take 7 points from, more would obviously be better. If we come away with less than 3 points from Fulham and Leicester a defeat to Liverpool and I would show Jesse the door early Get a new guy in for two weeks before the W/C break so that the players can get introduced before leaving Hopefully we will win tonight and take points from Fulham so it won't come to that
I know I've said this before but... If the side is competing in every game and generally making as many or more chances than the opposition, then results WILL come unless your attacking talent isn't good enough. This side is competitive in every game, so results WILL come.. unless our attacking talent isn't good enough. The manager can't kick the ball in the net, he can only get his team playing in a manner that creates opportinities for them to do it. Our xg against arsenal was 2.5. Paddy has an xg of 3.5 this season and tops the 'big chances missed' table. Changing the manager won't improve that. Pep wouldn;t magically improve Paddy's finishing, or Rodrigo's pressing. In fact, getting a new guy in with new ideas for the players to learn is more likely to make matters worse, given a lot of these players were signed to play a certain type of football. We know Marsch wanted a new striker. He mentioned it numerous times over the summer. He ended up with an 18 year old (yeh i know italian international blah blah) who they had clearly earmarked as one for the future... and are now 'fast-tracking'. Bielsa was sacked because we were getting battered every week and the players were mentally beaten up. This lot are neither.... yet. If and when they are, then sack Marsch.
Totally agree milky. Every game now bar Man City will be just about 50/50...that's home and away. How many points we'll pick up over the season is anyone's guess but at least we are competitive and there are signs of improvement.
Spot on. Sacking Marsch would solve nothing except likely increase our chances of relegation. A news manager would also have a zero transfer budget in January
We need something from tonight......effing anything will do we can't afford to lose this one, we deserved a result v arse and surely if we play the same then the hard luck stories will at least even out.......looks like I will miss the match due to having only found 1 British bar in a sea of German/Dutch ones and they ain't advertising any Leeds match as of earlier, will have to see if the lone British bulldog one is later ........c'mon Jesse get them rolling yeee haaa
It’s no wonder we talk such bollox on here. I’ve often thought no one knows what day of the week it is… and now we have our proof
