Norwich winning away to Arsenal, sorry this cup game was there for the taking, I actually agree with LL for a change, top 6 is a priority but it is a long way off and look at what happened last season, we should be trying to win this and at least get a step closer to Wembley, winning builds momentum and confidence.
Listening to Johnny Giles being interviewed on local radio here at the weekend. He said the 2 times that team won the league was when we went out of the cups early
To me looks as though he's always going to do something special with the ball, then before i know it it,s back with the oposition.Evenin everyone btw.
Well that’s that but they did bring on Vardy and Mahrez to ensure it. Win on Friday and my number of ****s given about tonight will be pretty small
One thing i have noticed is that we are 2 yds slower to the ball than what they were, Pontus was asleep for there second, and maybe the Kraut could have got a hand to it but Mahez was faaar too quick for Anita and allowed him to come onto his left peg, TC needs to analise this and improve the team.
Always excuses, always excuses, but no positivity. A coach who doesn't want to win a cup game disrespects the players, the team, the club and the fans as far as I'm concerned. That type of attitude has a bad habit of creeping into players. After Reading game, and according to Berardi, TC didn't even talk to players after match, what type of attitude is that.
Oh well, not a bad performance overall, bigest match on friday though, looking faward to that one, heres to a great result all
I don't think we were shamed, put on a good performance, some areas of improvement required but then that was our 2nd team and they weren't quite as good as their second team - Friday is the match that is important and apart from a couple of injuries we seem set ok for that.
My big concern is this....the most scary, bustling. aggressive, ball-breaking, uncontrollably energetic attacker we have at the club is...Lasogga.
in terms of quality Leicester way better than Burnley for sure, once they started to play down the flanks we were always going to be stretched ... Mahrez head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch, amazed he's still at Leicester ... you have to question these Leicester players when you look at their league position, they need to look at themselves in the mirror and acknowledge they have not tried much this season (erm, nor last I guess) Leeds were by no means poor tonight, and they played some good stuff ... a bit disjointed getting forward, would have like to see Sacko on a lot earlier to push them back and give us an out ball ... beaten but not disgraced at all, I think we can be pleased with what we have in reserve compared to last season ... Klich was good, BJ much improved, Shocky a class act ... the lads would have learnt a lot tonight and gained more confidence for standing up to a Prem club ... we have a lot to be positive about this season, now to beat the Blades on Friday also, good on Leicester supporters for getting 31k in the ground, much better than having to watch Bournemouth or Swansea I guess ... Boro got nobbed 3-1 and Palace smashed 4-1 at Bristol City ... onwards and upwards for Leeds, Leicester should survive because there are some truly awful teams in the Prem right now
