When you are forced to defend in numbers like we have been eventually your lack of invention will cost dearly. Definite penalty and now we have to come out of the shell we created and try to score against a team that, as yet, has rarely been threatened. Vardy almost takes the net off and we are down 1-0, so let's see what Nigel has up his sleeve.

Always has a mistake in him as a CB, though some don’t see it…. He has been the better of our 2 CBs today by a mile though
To be fair, no less than they deserve, men against boys today

Sometimes you just have to applaud the opposition, quick feet left Naismith for dead. It was only a matter of time really and no more than they deserved. They’re a good side, man for man much better than us.

Partly agree, but Naismith should know better than to even attempt that challenge once he was turned inside out.

They’ve won 28 out of the last 32 home games
Not an easy place to go

Yeboah is too prone to committing unwanted pushes in the back when the opposition player gets between him and the ball. Chances are wasted by this stupidity in making fouls when we are on the front foot.

Different gravy are the foxes -class -give em the championship no better in the division.

we need improvements up front if we are going to be a top six contender.

Yet, we could be level if Knight showed more composure. Leicester just not clicking with that final ball, thankfully, or we’d be 4 or 5 down

If you don’t score goals you won’t win football matches
Not an unfamiliar story for us

Not sure we’ve tested them enough at the back imo.. some of our pressing panicked them but we’ve not done it enough

True, they’ve such quality throughout the team though we’d have risked getting a thrashing if we’d allowed them room. I’ve no issue defending as we did, but needed to hold onto it better when we had it, we gave possession away too easily.

We gave it a go.. good Leicester side but not invincible imo. I’m not complaining but just think we gave them far too much respect..
The times we pressed we looked ok, not enough imo..
couldn’t fault the effort from the players..

A 1 goal defeat isn’t too bad tbh, better than I thought.

When you take the field with absolutely no imagination and allow a good team like Leicester to boss the play then you have to expect nothing. We were second best all across the pitch and only luck prevented us from losing badly but the defence also looked bewildered by fast moves and turns that we couldn't come close to handling. Max made some good saves to keep us in the game but his poor distribution needs addressing because he creates havoc by putting his back line under heavy pressure with some questionable decisions. Weimann looked way off the pace and yet he had probably the best scoring chance for City but it was a split second chance that he was unable to convert. We lost to a deserved penalty from a very poor Naismith challenge and there go the 3 points down the drain.

I don’t agree Luck kept us from a thrashing. I think our defence worked hard and coped with most that Leicester threw at us.. Just didn’t do enough going forward imo.

Individually they are much better than us, if we’d been more attack minded we’d have left them space and imo we could well have been taken to the cleaners, as I said sitting back and making them break us down was probably our only chance of getting anything out of the game. Our problem was we gave the ball away to easily once we got possession, which in turn invited them back onto us. It was a bad challenge for the goal, but almost inevitable the amount of pressure we were having to withstand. As Wiz said a 1-0 loss away to Leicester is no disgrace.

Disappointed we didn’t offer much going forward, but they’ll walk this league imo, still onwards and upwards.
