Pearson had his admirers and also those who thought he lacked certain abilities. One thing that most of us agree on is that he left a sound base and work ethic, sorted out the back room staff, and was manager when many significant developments were made to training facilities. We have a lot to be grateful for, but Claudio has taken us to a new level of belief and tactical nous.
Aye, it's generally quiet on the Championship board (other than ours) and I've got out of the habit of board hopping.
Leicester win Premier League: Have Foxes turned city into UK's sporting capital? Notable sporting success in 2016: Leicester City: Premier League champions. Mark Selby: Snooker world champion. Leicester Tigers: In the Premiership rugby union play-offs and hunting for an 11th English title, having finished in the top four for a 12th successive season. Also losing European Champions Cup semi-finalists. Leicester Riders: British Basketball League champions, BBL Trophy winners. Chasing a domestic treble after reaching the BBL play-off final against Sheffield Sharks, to be played at London's O2 Arena on Sunday, 8 May. Leicester City Women: Won Women's Premier League Midlands Division One title, which is the fourth tier of women's football in England, with a 100% record - winning 22 games, scoring 93 goals and conceding just 19. Leicestershire: The only one of the city's major sporting teams to have struggled in recent years, but won their opening County Championship game of the season having ended a run of nearly three years without victory last summer. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...e/35944611&link_location=live-reporting-story
Thanks. It's nice to see Pearson get some credit. I assumed he had set you on the right path. Good luck for next season.
I flew over yesterday, Belfast airport was full of Liverpool fans coming over for last night's match. A lot of them went out of their way to say well done when they spotted my shirt. And the Spurs fan who was impressed when he discovered he was sitting next to me
Can't forget about our women's team as well - went the entire season unbeaten and won the Midlands title and promotion into the Northern League please log in to view this image
Belated congratulations guys (always lurking, rarely posting). Fantastic achievement, hope you keep it up next season and prove the naysayers wrong, and keep the so called Sky 4 humble. Literally a fox among the chickens.
Dreadful scenes during Raniari's press conference when he was physically assaulted by one of his own players spraying him with Champagne. The man was clearly distressed as the fluid stung his eyes. It has marred an otherwise glorious season for you lads. Do you expect heads to roll for this?
10 points clear of 2nd Spuds and 12 points clear of 3rd Arseholes 2015/16 Premier League Won in Leicester Bottled in North London
Leicester came around the clubhouse turn like Secritariat , 10 lengths on some , 12 on other , more on the rest . Secritariat wasn't a fluke , and neither was this ...both are historic is all , Secritariat is about all that compares to the Leicester title for me . And the margin that Secrtariat won the last race by was ......incredible .
Just saw that - Raneiri is a capable of taking care of it himself and Fuch should watch out for a horse's head in his bed tonight... please log in to view this image http://www.theguardian.com/football...hs-soaks-claudio-ranieri-with-champagne-video
Nope. Maybe a Sketchlys bill for Fuchs, and incessant tweets from Spuds fans demanding an 11 point deduction though.
