Well if the rumours are true then Waggy will be heading in the opposite direction. He's a confidence player who plays with his heart on his sleeves , Leicester fans love him to bits. and let's be fair to Sven, he ain't a looker and I think it's quite an achievement to pull something that moves when you look like him!
I cant believe we would want Waghorn, we have Pitman and Stead, as well as Scottish international Dave Clarkson, plus we have signed two new forwards this month. I read Forrest want to give us £3m plus McGoldrick, I just cant see where these players will fit in.
Well Waghorn is a poor mans Maynard. Waghorn is valued at 2m and Maynard is 4m. They are very much the same player whereas Pitmann and Stead are both lanky sods. Waghorn and Howard were pretty Awesome together as a little and large duo under Pearson but Howard is passed it now and we don't play hoof ball under Sven. Waggy was summed up the last time you played at the Walkers. He ran around after being brought on in the 85th minute when everyone else seemed to give up. He then popped up with the winner in the 92nd minute. I reckon a 3m plus Waghorn bid will end up with Millen snapping Svens hands off.
