And he scored with a header once, honest! Great celebtation too. He ran along in front of the fans pointing to his head.

    Hermann is a cult hero

I really don't think we've had many inductee's to this list since sort of 2005ish

Could Shaun Bartlett and JJ be cult heroes maybe? Given the teams they played in and goals they scored

I think to be a cult hero there needs to be a certain 'bonkersness' to them - Hreidarsson had it most definitely, Di Canio too. Either that or they are one of the unsung heroes of a very successful team - Kish or Keith Jones perhaps.

I would love to have seen Peacock, Hales and Flanagan in all their pomp. But obviously their reputations ensure that they are seen as legends by all generations of fans.

Those like Peacock and Paddy Powell continue to serve the club and that just cements their places in the club's history.

    God, I love Charlton Athletic.

Halesey frightened the life out of centre halfs hard as nails,in my youth he was the idol of the covered end without a shadow of a doubt.
I remember back in the day we were excellent going forward and total cac at the back...good to watch though.

unsung hero - luke young. terribly underated during his time here. i liked the way he improved so dramatically after a fairly poor first season. model of consistency, playing 40 games a season for 5 odd years. well played luke, good commitment

mr charlton - rob lee. cant argue with that. turnstiles as a kid, his transfer fee got us back to the valley. class act.

its in the name - Young Fish Costa Fortune
