Hendo,Suarez Silverware, 2 cup finals, qualifying for Europe in first proper season. His record isn't that bad. Most successful manager since rafa... not that that says much.
It's good to have him back at the club. Also, it puts a footballing person on the board to help connect the money men with the playing staff. There may not be any visible/tangible impact but it's definitely positive news for the fans and club.
Dalglish did win the cups in his second tenure but most Liverpool fans I know say apart from his intervention in standing in as an interim manager he should NOT have been offered the full time job. Most fans would have swapped the cup finals/silverware for top 4 and champions league. It is not nice being out of Europe is it?
Youll probably find out next year. Winning cups or finishing 4th... I'd rather win cups. People remember we won in Istanbul, May 25, 2005... fewer people remember we were out of top 4... or who took 4th. Truth be told I'd rather win cups and be in top 4... but that's besides the point. Can't say if Kenny was the right signing long term or not... because he got cut so quickly... can't say he was right or wrong to be cut yet either. Rodgers still needs to prove himself. We've started this year well... but let's see how long we can keep it up.
I thought this thread was all about me coming back, quite dissapointed. Show me love lest I smite you. P.S. how have you all been? Behaving I hope

Bluff. There have been about 2 threads on this subject already. Keep up - you're supposed to be a mod
There you go and your link being the oldest is the first. It offers more insight into a why it could work, should work, what they can offer, etc.
