City may have lost but the defeat will go down in the Tigers folklore. The "Glorious Defeat" will be remembered in the same way as the Semi in the thirties, the Battle of Bramall Lane, the Chelsea 6th round tie of 65, the Great Escape, Dean Windass scoring the winner against Bristol.

It would have been great to win but there is lasting legacy in a "Glorious Defeat"!

Our children's children's will be talking about it 50 years from now, just as we on these forums fondly remember and discuss Waggies goals at Stamford Bridge.

And who knows maybe the "Glorious Defeat" is going to "kick-off" a new period of making greater legacies for the Tigers. A great run in the Europa Cup would be a start.

Missed the final but never been to Poland so already looking at flights to Warsaw!!!! Not going to miss that one.
