Don't think we'll have 'wingers'. Its more likely to be two ACM that push wide behind a central striker or two up front with Coutinho in behind. A front three of Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge
Ljajic would be cheap and the best fit probably. Definitely going to be a top player. The papers linking us but I think its more of a case of "he is available and they need someone like him so lets pretend there is interest". If we did I would be ecstatic.
Ljajic would be a great shout. Also heard that we have been scouting Yevhen Konoplyanka - 23 years old from Ukraine. Big talent. Mata would be ideal though!
meh... suarez.... look left side all comes form mr rodgers saying it. i think borini is his first effrot at that side and he still has not returned to him or assaidi... you'd have to wonder who he'll look to cos mkhitaryan was not there, nor was costa and willain rejected us.... who knows...
Fiorentina - you're thinking of Ilicic at Palermo, who just signed for... Fiorentina. While we're at it, maybe we can get Maradona to put on his boots as well?
I'd be concerned that playing Aspas and Suarez (or one of those and Borini) eithe side of Sturridge will be unbalanced. Aspas and Suarez, when playing wide, both like to move in to the second striker kind of area behind the main striker. They excel at doing this, it opens up defenses. But if we have them both doing this we will loose out down the sides. I'd like to see more of what Rodgers likes to call a 'reverse winger' attacking midfield type player.. A skillful winger who plays slightly narrower then a traditional winger (like Valencia for example) and makes bent runs in to the penalty area, scoring and creating goals (as apposed to hugging the touchline and whipping crosses in). Obviously interchanging is our thing so they have to be good at this to. Costa is a good example of this type of player.
I Don't see why we need a LW, now that Suarez is staying, he's not likely to be rotated much. But even if needed, we have sterling, Borini or even Coutinho who can fill in. Rw could do with some improvement. I think another flexible attacking mid who's also comfartable on either flanks would do it. Ljacjic as Danilo mentioned would be a top class signing. He had a better season than Jovetic and would cost less than half of what City paid for him. I'm least bit excited about Moses though, and definitely not on Loan.
