    My local's is on today.
    Got a big leek & some giant onions yesterday that were no good for the show.
    Going down shortly for my free broth & a couple of pints.
    Anyone else go to the leek shows?

    Have often played at the local clubs after their leek shows but never been to one myself! My Dad was right into it!

    When I lived in Shotton Colliery, I used to watch the gadgeys proudly showing off their crops @ The Fleming!

    Cockerton Club in Darlo still does the Leek shows cause me 'Fatha' goes for the scran !!
