Brighton were awful last season, watched them at Elland Road in an absolutely tepid 1-1. But Poyet has revolutionized them this season, with the way they play football I think they will almost certainly get into the top half of the table if they're promoted. They'll no doubt have some money to spend as well, though Leeds have shown that you don't have to spend money on attacking players to get bucketloads of goals, but you do need an organized defence. Norwich have done that better than us, probably the major advantage Lambert has over Grayson. Fair play to the Norwich fan BTW, other than the debt I think you're a well run club and wish you no harm.
Great season from Brighton, surely up now. Like Il Duce, I have to say I was unimpressed with Brighton last year when we played you. Didnt really threaten much and parked the bus somewhat. So Poyet has done a cracking job to get you to where you are now. Will be interesting to see if you can follow in ours, Leeds and Millwalls footsteps and make the step up a comfortable one. Hopefully us and Leeds still wont be in the same division as you next year though
Good to see wumming has passed over to here hehe! Leeds only gave us 2,800 tickets for saturday, even after we gave them 4,800 for the City Ground match. What a joke. Which is why I'm one of the many Forest fans sitting in the Leeds home end. It's pathetic they gave us so few tickets for such an important match, this close to the end of the season. If it kicks off in the crowd LUFC should be fined.
Hmmmmm, that does seem a little stingy. Especially as Leeds dont sell out. Last year we did the same against Colchester. Their chairman was still angry about us getting Lambert so he gave us a pitiful away allocation so we just bought loads of home tickets - there was probably more Norwich fans there than Colu haha. It sold their ground out for the only time. Worth it too for the revenge getting 5-0 thumping!
I think we probably will. Our attendance has been reduced to 32,000, you see, since the East Stand Upper has been closed until next season. Why should LUFC be fined? If any individual hits another individual inside the ground, action should be taken against them yes. But the club? Really? Agree with your point about allocation sizes, you should in principle get more than 2,800 really even if we do sell out.
Now, now, Billy Boy. No need for such crude behaviour. So nervous about todays game! If we manage to beat Swansea its then pretty much a 2 horse race between us and Cardiff for 2nd. Its a big, big ask though especially away from home. Cant see us getting anything out of it. Fingers crossed
No cos that trophy would look crap next to our Fa Cup, league titles, league cup and European trophies
...you do realise I'll use that point next year when we win the playoffs and both sides are in midtable mediocrity, right?
That must put your partner off something fierce. Don't you know how many Bond girls get stiffed? ...so to speak.
I'm better looking than Bond so dont think any girls will complain if I fancy a little singalong during it, somehow...... I mean, would you complain if you were doing Megan Fox but she insisted on singing the theme tune of last of the summer wine during it? Thought not
Norwich, Hull and Leicester fan have all somehow congregated onto our boards. Through jealousy perhaps of our huge enormous club? Face it mugs, all three of you put together wouldn't even come close to us in terms of being a big club. You're all part of the won nowt, done nowt, seen nowt group of clubs. Now please go away children.
