I don't care enough to predict a result any more. I have no faith in Leeds United as things stand, so I helplessly and hopelessly follow every week without any hope of satisfaction.

Ha Southampton fans know that feeling all too well.. I think most of us breezed through 04-09 expecting losses every weekend with little hope of a brighter future! Warnock is a good appointment though, I reckon. Should see Leeds climbing the table.

We got in trouble with the Watford fans for being 'arrogant' too! <laugh>

In fairness, I did predict something like a 5-0 win when we ended up drawing 1-1 with a last-second penalty.

All these teams are the same though "don't under estimate us, we're good". Yep, that's why you're lingering round the bottom half of mid table or the relegation zone.

I think it's more people mistake us for arrogant because we predict wins against teams like Watford - rightly so, evidence would suggest. Not sure anyone's quite as confident about this game though..!

It was the same for us at watford. we went there in the playoff spots with them in lower middle table, expecting a win, and they got all uptight and said we were arrogant.

Indeed. Though with a good team performance, a reasonable pitch, and the Lads at their individual best, I don't think Leeds will be climbing the table quite this weekend. Just my opinion, of course. All the best for afterwards.

I have got to say I will be very happy with a draw. I also think that with Warnocks record Leeds will be a force next season (think you probably have a bit too much to do to get up this season) so really don't want to be around this league then. Just do us a favour and beat as many of the top teams you can.

I think Warnock's potential to get you up will only be realised if Bates doesn't sell your players and actually gives some funding to a manager for once.

My prediction: the final scoreline will be somewhere in a range between a 4-1 Southampton win and a 3-0 Leeds victory. Other than that, not a clue; they can beat most anyone in this division on their day, it seems, and we can lose to just about anyone, especially if things go against us early.

your not being indecisive in the slightest...

I have a good feeling about this....well, I will when someone confirms that Lambert and Lallana are completely fit and well after last week. When we have a full squad fit, we may not not win but I feel it's less likely that we will get beaten. Blimey. Four pages and not a troll in sight. Must be a record! <laugh>

We're an odd team...we've played 13 games against the rest of the top ten and have 6 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses, and we're undefeated against the teams currently sitting 2nd-5th, but we've also had the teams in 12th and 21st do the double over us, and we provided Doncaster with one of their six wins. And your lot can score in bunches, but can surrender even more quickly, but now have a new manager and reinforcements on the pitch. I'm sticking with my prediction, and I'm not even entirely confident in it!

Aside from that, this should be a fairly even match, certainly more even than at the start of the season when we were an unknown quantity entirely. We've been up and down since then but look really good right now, I fancy us to take it 2-0. Sharp and Lallana to score. At this point we should be good enough to best them purely on attacking strength, but I see another clean sheet ahead too.

This love fest may be due to one fan being banned for the moment! Tough game but going for a Saints win if Lambert and Lallana are available, because we really need this and we have started to get results again.
There are loads of reasons why Saints could be regarded as a big club (support, time in Prem etc) but it never counts, because we are not fashionable and never have been. Here's to a great game (or a terrible game where Saints win by a dodgy penalty:grin:). COYR

Players will be sold and that's a given. Snoddy and Ross will both go. Snoddy deserves a crack in the premiership and Ross can't get a Scotland call up as long as he's with us seemingly. Unfortunately they're the two crucial ones. Really not bothered if the rest of the squad was sold as it wouldn't be a big job to find replacements at least as good. Snoddy and Ross a different matter though, it would cost money to replace them and we all know the chances of any of that stuff becoming available

Obviously Leeds fans are unhappy, but doesn't what has happened at Rangers, Pompey and Port Vale give you pause. And some PL clubs are struggling. Not being in or near admin is an achievement these days.

No because we are not asking for massive investment in players that could put us in danger again. we just want to keep our better players and sign a few decent players for a real promotion push. With the revenue we make it wouldnt even be a problem

Appointed Referee is Nigel Miller, see http://www.football-lineups.com/referee/292/ not getting the best ratings but does like to award penalties and has been relatively lenient recently with the issuing of Red cards. I understand he is very strong on the shirt tugging of forwards in the Penalty area, you have been warned!

With our recent record with referees, I think it's fair to say that it's you who's been warned. ;)
