Morning all. Travelling back from abroad last night. So only heard the last 5 minutes. Got a text from a Lesta mate of mine letting me know the score. Suffice to say, he was well hacked off. All starting to look a lot more positive than a week or two ago. The 'Udders game on Saturday will now be interesting. Is Beckford fit? If so & he plays, I hope we give him a generous reception. We might just get him back one day. 17k crowd a bit low, but the weather clearly wouldn't have helped. A 2nd home game on the trot & Cliffmas approaching with people watching their pennies also wouldn't have done much for the crowd. Pity the club didn't make it £20 for adults & a fiver for kids. That would have brought people out. Anyway, the Elland Road Beeston Semplon is moving up the tracks. Someone tell the Deptford "express" to get out the way.
