Can't see any reason why the likes of Baah, Ince and Larouci shouldn't start on Saturday - possibly even Morris. They each worked hard and impressed.
Tell me to rinse my mouth out, but every player makes mistakes - none are perfect. Remember when Luther won the Golden Boot, he was dubbed Luther Missit because he fluffed so many chances...
Very true and the second goal was a classic case of a loose ball going to the attacker which is a 50/50 thing really. Not sure you could blame him for any of the goals on Saturday either really but seemed to take all the flack,
Apologies for giving the impression you were guaranteed at least a point. I hadn’t realised all we had to do was make sure you kept us to one goal advantage to ensure we failed to go top.
At the start of the second half, it seemed that Sissoko was really driving the team forward from midfield. As time went by, he did appear to lose his head of steam, and we let Leeds back into the game.
Well balanced article by Andrew French https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/24673407.surely-watford-now-largely-expected/
Very balanced article I got very annoyed when Bachman made those two schoolboy mistakes and said so on here but that is not the same as personal abuse on social media platforms We have to get behind Tom and the team on Saturday and show we are Watford supporters and not just local fans
And boy has there been a lot of that from thoughtless bozzos - trying to counter it is like being Canute trying to turn the tide back.
Same people who probably complained he didn’t get into the team ahead of Foster all those seasons ago . Yes DB has faults but don’t remember anyone saying Bond must play when he signed - the complete opposite actually (he is no good etc ) And if Cleverley has to be “sacked” because Tom decides to select him then we might as well have no manager at all as obviously they will pick someone fans don’t agree with I do agree that if Bachmann was injured he shouldn’t play v Luton but then the critics would probably have say he bottled it as they did when he went off at Norwich .
Tbh looking at the second goal again didn’t really seem to be the total howler made out to be as such really . I mean the cross seemed to be deflected and he has to react quickly but unfortunately the ball fell to an on running attacking albeit will accept in the middle of the goal which I guess isn’t ideal . Something we lack our lot doing tbh - getting on the end of loose balls . An error which could have been avoided but not a total disaster particularly compared to the first . Personally feel the keeper situation is not our biggest worry so long as the 2 are fit.
