I do t agree. Your conditioned for failure. You have forgot what it’s like to have the right people and the right players. So your accustomed to the last 14 years and that’s your benchmark. You have descended into what Ashley wanted us to be. Nothing! See the fact is we are in a mess and it was caused by the previous regime but they are making similar mistakes and Howe is as bad as bruce. You can say the players are **** and defeatist and it’s engrained on their dna. But that has unfortunately rubbed off onto the fans. They don’t know any better.
Explain to me then how we can be so good first half finishing aside to “THAT” second half? Same players. Bruce would have been crucified for that!
They actually make me sick. This is the ****list - the club isn't our club til every one of these is gone: Shelvey. Lascelles. Hendrick. Fraser. Longstaff. Clark. Ritchie. Gayle. Krafth. The likes of Murphy, Fede, Almiron, Schar, Lewis, Dubs, Wood, aren't good enough but don't raise bile in my throat like the aforementioned. ASM, Wilson, Joelinton and maybe Willock are the only PL quality players in the entire squad.
The last 14 years is not my benchmark - but it is the reality of where we are. You don’t change that overnight with 1 good signing and a new (second choice) manager. We’re down - nearly - but it’s not the fault of the new owners or the new manager.
