Duberry will not be playing tonight, he's injured.

    Ashdown

    Peltier Gimpel Lees Drury

    Byram Lenighan Norris White

    Diouf Gray

    Bench:

    Kenny
    Austin
    Pearce
    Thompson
    Poleon
    N Turner
    Snodin

Lets see what White and Byram can do without defensive duties.
Plan of attack, if we are winning comfortably by 60mins then bring on the kids in Midfield and drop White & Byram back into defence.

Fair option OP, but I think we need to be a bit stronger & play more of the experienced squad players - Brown, Nunez & Kisnorbo to name but three. Oxford will be up for it tonight in what they will see as their cup final. No need to put added pressure on Gimpel & Lenighan. More to the point, Brown & Kisnorbo need game time.

Kenny- Doesnt need the rest and should work with all defenders to gel

Byram- give him game time & save Pelts.

Lees- play Lees to get rid of some rust he may still have

Pearce/Kissa If Kissa is ready give him the game time

    Dury- Get him fit

Diouf If available need to get him fit if he is staying on

    Brown- due game time

thompson- Impressed me last year even out of position- would rather see him than Pugh

White- give Aidy a run again in midfield

Gray- didnt have a bad pre season, Could help settle Poleon up tops with him

Poleon- Good stage for him, seems confident & I think we may have one for the future here

Subs- Rosco, Becchio, GK, Pearce/Kissa, Austin, Varney

Just my thoughts and there will be a few in there with a point to prove so hopefully we will match Oxford for hunger!

    Thanks!

I like the look of this team - nice balance between youngsters and established players.

Best of luck to Paddy Kissa! Nice to see him starting.

I hope Poleon gets some decent minutes too and the established stars on the bench get rested.

That line up looks terrible, very weak, Lees is no RB, Kissa's finished, Byram wide right? No way. Not confident at all.

    Truly awful.

Really don't give a monkeys what tonight's result is as I suspect Colin's not too bothered either. Not a lot to be learned from what that line up produces

LiE, who else plays RB when you're resting Peltier & two others have already been picked as the CB pair?

Maybe its not a bad thing giving Lees a run out at right back. Hes obviously better at CB but should be able to handle the threat of Oxford & gain some more experience in the role. Boggers Byram can provide cover when Pelts is out if he can continue to prove himself.

    GOAL AUSTIN!!
