I only ask because I think that’s the best result we can achieve, good luck with your wager ,at least you haven’t bet on us losing like someone we knew
Cheers. As an aside, if you think Charlton are going to lose and you have a bet on it then I cannot see a problem. We lose, you win money. We don't then that's good. A win win situation?
Warning from Spain. My team here Deportivo followed a similar trajectory to Charlton. They zoomed out of the relegation spots when the football restarted, and seemed fairly comfy and even beat eventual champions Huesca two weeks ago. After which they lost every game, including some truly pathetic surrenders, and on Friday night dipped back into a relegation spot, meaning their future depended on others. Last night their match was cancelled as seven members of the opposition showed up in La Coruña with coronavirus. But all the other games went ahead and every result went against them. They dropped into the 2B regional league, though they are muttering about some painful half arsed appeal. But beware of football. It shows no mercy.
Charlton haven't been in such a state for 30 years. New owners at war with each other. Embarrassing antics at Companies House. The Valley & training ground no longer owned by the Club. An embargo preventing us from building a squad for 2020-21, which will mean relegation in a years time whatever league we are in. No idea where the wage money is coming from each month. Our manager more and more willing to mention the impossible position he is in, partly because the points deduction fiasco looks like dragging on way beyond 22nd July.
"Smudger, Smudger, Barcelona are 50/1 to beat Charlton tomorrow, I have just stuck £50 on it". "Nah, f*** that Elfs, I never bet on Charlton to lose"
@Smudger603 I have pm'd my very able deputy @lardiman regarding the punishment to hand out to you. Giving me the 'finger' was very uncalled for. ITTApologist are accepting new applicants
Your now talking absolute bollox ! Really what are the chances of us playing Barcelona ??? More like Billericay the way we’re going
