First game I have got to see live in a while - not highlights
    Fantastic to watch
But sky letting this guy on to basically say ref got it wrong is insane

I understand if card gets rescinded and no ban but that has to be a red as it was reckless as many are saying
    Intentional no reckless yes
    Leg broken
On the Aquilani scale of reds it was a four year ban

And I'm saying the missed chances are as a result of a poor bit of control or taking an extra touch before pulling the trigger.

Just look how many strikers hit it first time or their touch sets them up.

He can make his life so much easier for himself if he gets them right.

I have agreed with you he is getting in the right positions and is working hard.

I couldnt see the first time as the contact was blocked by their bodies so I've not seen it again.

So klopp says it was a dislocated ankle. Surprised as it looked like a broken leg but maybe just some angles made it seem that way.

Id assume a dislocation is far better than a broken leg from a recovery?

and I never disagrees with that so not sure why your bringing it up.

I’ll say again, everything up until the final action was brilliant. Guys movement was great, link up was decent. Held the ball well, took on his man. Just the final shot was letting him down (which in case you want to be pedantic obviously includes the touch before he shoots)

Really good performance I thought. Shocking finishing, mainly Mané. Nice to see Chamberlain come on and be as useful as expected.

Real gutted for Elliott, breath of fresh air ahead of Keita and Chamberlain

Fabinho, Hendo, Thiago, Milner and Ox too. We're not short on CMs.

And no one was counting Elliott as a CM pre-season either, no one.

As was said in the commentary the tackle was not reckless but the outcome was serious. Redknapp also agreed. The defender didn’t set out to injure the player nor was he reckless or endanger his opponent. The card will definitely be rescinded. The referee wouldn’t even given a foul if the injury hadn’t occurred.

<ok> I’ve predicted the correct score never mind the outcome in more than 60% of the time.

i'm not sure you are getting how this works tbh . We all have our roles to play and yours is to be the optimist and Jaffa and Bumps the pessimists with various shades of grey in between . Just roll with it and know when you are right and when we twat the yorkie ****e you can glow in the soft light of self satisfaction .

that’s fine. I get that. But is there any need to call people names? I doubt whether others are sworn at, even “in jest” or is it something reserved for “optimists”? ;)

No idea. Seems a lot of ligaments in there.

I guess we will hear all about it from folk as they find out what it means.

It did look like a broken leg to me.

I'm only agreeing with everything bar the final touch :)

I reckon he fires half his shots wide anyway irrespective but dont mind that as it is what it is once he does the rest but he is ****ing up so many chances at this point it's a problem for him
