    Johnny,

Its our overall position that we are worried about, not just league position.

We are frustrated with our Chairman not investing in the team, and selling 15m of players in last few years.

We are frustrated that we are carrying 6-7 players that are 'dead wood' and cannot get rid of them.

We are frustrated at the lack of ambition shown by club and Manager.

Having tasted success in the past twenty years, winning the league etc (not bigging ourselves up), fan base etc etc, we should have better ambitions than we currently have. Beginning of the season we wanted Andrews, and were also linked heavily with Bowyer coming back to us, both went to you. At least you are spending money. All we are doing is selling and relacing them with loaness or free transfers.

Grayson needs to stand up to Bates

To be fair,we refused to pay the big wages Ipswich have paid Bowyer,Bullard,Stockdale, etc. And a good decision that turned out to be.Unless they can pull something out the bag, could be heading for league 1 and admin.

I'm sure all those players could have actually done well in your team. The difference was we were trying to build a team with them in it building from scratch. You already had the core of a good team, so they probably would have been good signings for you.

Scared of standing up and singing for your team? That doesn't make much sense.

Glad we did our job though - if we can put off the other team's fans from giving their team a boost, great. We win 3-1. <ok>

And JW, I agree that it's ridiculous that people want Grayson sacked. He is a puppet, however, and doesn't deserve much sympathy after his reaction to the Howson sale and others.

Sorry it was a snide dig at some of your fans who threw bricks and bottles at us a few years ago when we sent you down, the images of which I will not forget, women and children with blood streaming down their faces, it was horrible!! And no action was really ever taken!!

What's he supposed to do? If he complains then he gets sacked and Bates goes nowhere. Same goes for Gray and Lorimer. We're the only ones who can do anything.

He could at least deflect some responsibility from himself. 'The board thought this move would be for the best,' or words to that effect which are less obvious. Sadly, I don't think he's intelligent enough to play the press with his words, and he ends up looking like he enjoys working under Bates and supports his decisions. Which might well be true.
