Maguire just scored a 95th minute equaliser against Manure.

He could do so much better than Leicester :emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke:

We were definitely the better team first half, second half both teams were ****e, it should have been so easy to get promoted this season.

I thought it was Aina’s best game for us, ignoring that appalling abomination of a shot/cross at the end.

    Grosicki was terrible.

Hard to believe we had a player like Maguire last season looking at us now

Right I hate the Allams but I went today and I am going to ignore them.

People say our defence was terrible today didn't go. They where fine, they made a couple of errors but defended far better than Leeds did. Adkins has clearly changed things you can see how the full backs are staying far narrower than they previously did, and when we needed a goal he released them further up the pitch which made us a bit shakey.

I thought upfront Toral, Irvine and Dicko linked excellently in the first half and we had some good chances and there keeper made 3 excellent saves. Second half we panicked a little in my eyes, but Nigel didn't have the players he wanted on the bench. I reckon if Nigel had a transfer window we would of won that game.

We can moan about a lot but today I can't moan, the players tried absolutely everything they could. The manager has had a clear impact. Yes we aren't a promotion team, and the squad isn't good enough but if the players keep trying I am a happy man.

Keep it going Nigel, I reckon we will start picking up points soon.

The standard in this years Championship is terrible. Wolves excepted, I haven't seen a really good team so far. So yes, before "events" took over it should have been relatively simple to at least get into the play-offs. With Ehab at the helm we had no chance.

First visit to Ellend Road. Considering it's classed as one England's great grounds, truly awful.

Well, woke up to another loss, seems to becoming a habit. On a positive note the defence appears to be a lot more organised under Adkins, which can only bode well for the rest of the season. Pity Mazuch has picked up a hamstring injury, him and Dawson are looking to be a good pairing. Sounds as if on balance we were the better team, and only McGregor's howler was the deciding factor. Tough game Boxing day against an inform Derby, I think anything we can take from this game will be a bonus.

If they thought their club’s glory days were in the 80s then they as proper as proper Leeds fans come.

Some “diehard” Leeds & HKR supporter stuck the phrase “Goal of the year” on his FB status yesterday. Says it all. ****s.

I still reckon we are two players short of avoiding the trap door merry go round. A fully fit Dave and Hernandez up front would make a difference IMo although the manager still has his work cut out to paper over the many cracks created by the lack of any real investment. The January window will be a sink or swim time I guess as players agents and potential targets finally mind up thier minds if they fancy it here.

How many make or break transfer windows will we need before Ehab realises he is effing useless?

Yesterday’s game showed both the importance of good recruitment and just how much we’ve regressed since last time we were in the Championship.

Leeds were undoubtedly poor, but they had the quality (in Pablo Hernandez) to score a fine goal after a horrible error on McGregor’s part, and then the resolve to successfully shut up shop after that.

Whilst we looked bright in the first 20 minutes, we struggled all game to create anything more than half chances. Time and time again we got the ball out wide into promising positions, but we just didn’t have the quality to trouble the Leeds backline. In the end we were relying solely on the pace of our full backs to break past their defensive line into promising crossing positions; a fact which tells you all you need to know about the quality of our midfield.

Toral was bright in the first half and played some slick passes, but both Irvine and Grosiki were incredibly poor and repeatedly wasteful in possession. It didn’t take Leeds long to suss-out Grosiki’s game and nullify his threat; I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more one-footed attacker in a City shirt in the past couple of years (and that includes Snodgrass). Why he doesn’t play on the right - where his pace can be utilised on the counter to break past the defensive line and hit early crosses into the box - rather than the left is beyond me.

Thinking about how our team in 2015 would probably have fared in this game given the quality we then had at our disposal leaves one feeling incredibly depressed. Whilst the Allams bear ultimate responsibility for the hollowing out of our squad, even given the budget we did have, our recruitment in the summer was poor. Steve Bruce, for all his tactical naïveté, always got his recruitment right for us. Slutsky on the other hand has shown himself to be both tactically naive and substandard in the quality of recruitment.

We feel we have turned a corner in regards to ownership and having an owner who is not careless yet still wishes to succeed. I haven’t read one Leeds fan who hasn’t admitted Hull were the better team and that’s worrying when you remember how many injuries you have.

We were poor by all accounts but we can play much better than that, it seems your coach did his homework and stopped aspects of our game from working. It’s a strange Leeds team this season, one game we can look promotion material the next you’d swear we were bottom of the table.

We rely massively on Saiz who was out injured, we’re hoping for a new striker come January and we’re limping along taking 3 points even when playing ugly. It’s easy to over analyse a game when you have lost without remembering how many injuries you’re carrying and that you actually played better than the opposition in their own back yard in a local derby.

Don’t think you have a chance of going down but at the same time frustrating years ahead when you have poor owners, it could have been worse, you might have had Bates, GFH or Cellino <ok>

    Merry Christmas to you all...

A tactic of getting the ball out wide to pump into the middle towards a 5foot 6 inch forward is never a good idea - great philosophy Ehab you thick ****

This was made most obvious in the second half when Grosicki was free down the inside left channel, the right back ran alongside him on his right side and the Pole literally couldn’t work out how to strike the ball using his left foot. It trickled out for a goal kick.
