purely on results, not bad - Midboro lost last night, Palace drew, Hull drew, Forest drew, Millwall lost, Brighton drew only wins were Watford and Burnley. If only we had been getting points away from home...........
Coast of the south end of the Sinai peninsula is still OK. Loads of roadblocks and blokes hanging round with automatic weapons, but they can't afford to let the Sinai go to ****. They need the tourist money. I'd never go there if it wasn't for the diving. There's sod all else to do unless you're a sunbathing type... EDIT: It appears the FCO have decided the Sinai has gone to **** since we were there...
Hate to put a downer on the good half of that stat, but I have a feeling our home run will end vs Spurs...
The definition of a successful club or sportsperson is when you can pick up results when you're not playing well....
Another 3pts. Sounded as though there was a bit of hoofball again. Also not sure if we're playing Barclay in the best possible place. But as I say, its still another 3pts. So not too bad
The assumption is that normally you play well though. A team that consistently plays badly will never do well, despite inconsistent results What the footballing industry seems to have forgotten is that the game is about entertainment but they seem to think that because you can't change your brand the fans will forever blindly turn up and forgive dross week after week. This club needs to wake up and smell the coffee
3 points out of six from the bottom two teams, 1 goal scored 2 conceded and pathetic after match comments by Warnock, can't say I am impressed if honest
But therein lies the problem - the quality shines when you are playing well and gets you results when you're not, we never play well.
Just watched high(low)lights on The Football League Show and I'm actually not arguing with how low on the order we were for once. I do however have a problem with some of the comments from the BBC commentator who said Bristol "shaded the first half" and Leeds "looked more like the team propping up the division" both statements incredibly false. I was at the game yesterday and I'm totally of the opinion that we shouldnt be charged so much for so little 'football'. At times it was hard to bear. We need to improve, sign players etc otherwise it will be another bottom half finsh this season. A team like Leicester or cardiff would have won that game by 5 or 6 goals and we made Bristol look our equals at time and they are not. Back to the BBC, Bristol had a couple of chances but by no means did they 'shade' the first half. We might have did F*** all with the ball but we did have more of it and were easily the better side throughout the game. We dicated most of the game only because we were clearly playing a team that was alot poorer.
I was at the game & agree with you. They also mentioned that Byram almost scored an o.g. Bet Tom Lees was delighted they got that wrong!
