Fresh off the electric highs of a Monday night masterclass at Old Trafford, a rejuvenated Leeds United returns home this Saturday to face a Wolverhampton Wanderers side that remain dangerous despite their precarious position, rooted at the bottom of the Premier League table. During Thursday's pre match press conference, Daniel Farke was quick to instil a sense of focus. While the victory served as a landmark moment for the supporters, Farke insisted his squad has already "put a line under it," shifting their gaze towards Wolves, who prior to the West Ham mauling had beaten both Aston Villa and Liverpool, plus a creditable draw against Brentford

Farke warned against complacency, noting that any team capable of such results deserves absolute humility and respect. To navigate this fixture, Leeds will rely on the same core that triumphed on Monday. While Joe Rodon, Anton Stach, and Dan James remain on the brink of a return to team training, Farke hinted at the possibility of a "surprise" inclusion should their recovery accelerate over the next 48 hours. The narrative surrounding individual performances has also bolstered the mood at Elland Road. Noah Okafor, the hero of Old Trafford with a brace, has not only silenced summer rumours regarding his attitude but has played his way back into the Swiss national squad.

Similarly, Japanese midfielder Ao Tanaka has drawn praise from many for his performance at Old Trafford, providing the consistency Farke’s system requires. Supplementing this flair is the leadership of Jaka Bijol, whom Farke described as a "leader of men." Bijol’s ability to remain professional and focused despite early-season injury setbacks and a difficult outing against Chelsea has made him an indispensable pillar of the Leeds locker room. A win on Saturday will more or less guarantee Leeds premier League status, but Leeds will have to earn their three points, and can't expect them to roll over.

I watched West Ham vs Wolves last weekend. Wolves flew out of the blocks and could easily have led by a goal or two. They really went for it.

West Ham eventually got a foothold in the game and managed to get the first goal. Once Wolves went a goal down they pretty much gave up. West Ham went on to win very comfortably.

The key for us is to get on top early, get our noses in front and hopefully Wolves will capitulate like they did at West Ham. I think Wolves will come and try and win the game. Its up to us to quash their spirit early.

Won't be an easy game.

When are Stach and Rodon expected back?
Stach I want back asap
Rodon not too bothered, I thought we looked balanced at the back at OT
James I cannot make my mind up about him this season
Stach expected back 'in May' as Farke alluded in his presser. Rodon not as bad but also expected end of April beginning of May time.

I have a question, how many years will we be happy finishing mid table in the PL? I know there are big plans but every team will have big plans, especially Arsenal, Citeh, Liverpool, Scum, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton, Sunderland, Villa and Spuds if they stay up.
We need to invest to just be safe in the PL and there's no guarantee that our players will perform as they have this season. Wolves, Spuds, West Ham and Scum have found this out in the last couple of years.
I'm asking because I'm reminded of Stoke under Mark Hughes. Solid top 10 finishes in the PL but they weren't happy with the style of football. Look at them now. West Ham were the same under Moyes. A European trophy and solid finish but the fans hated him.
Leeds fans are notoriously emotional. How would we handle it?

Wolves didn't handle the West Ham press and gave the ball away in dangerous areas. Winning the ball in dangerous areas is one of our big strengths so we should get a few chances.
Wolves haven't won away this season and have only scored 7 while they've conceded 27.
Obviously a ****house 0-1 Wolves <cheers>

Afternoon all. So close to safety now as a result of Monday night's heroic victory. We just have to make sure of 3 points this afternoon - i.e. don't balls it up!
