I’m hoping he has no trouble replacing him, he only joined on Monday, he has probably had limited time with the squad as he settles in to a new country and finds a place to live. Bielsa says he isn’t ready, I accept that, if in two weeks time he still isn’t ready I’ll panic and ask why but not after being here 4 full days before we played Wigan.

That team we put out against Wigan should have crushed them, one man never lost that game, a keeper error and missed chances by many did
Not having another striker option with 15-20 minutes go lost us the game IMO, and to think a player who was good enough to replace Edison Cavani, and Zlatan Ibrahimovich can't come on or play alongside Bamford for 15-20 mins is rediculas imo.

When he does get to play he is going to have an incredible goal average if you’re sure he would have scored in the final 20 minutes. We lost due to Kiko and we didn’t win due to multiple players missing multiple chances.

If Kiko had done his job we’d have drawn, if we’d have put one of the multiple chances away before that we’d have won.

Bamfords confidence in front of goal is at rock bottom. I believe his resentment at some criticism has led to this. I think his hands over his ears after scoring the winner against Millwall suggested this. Patrick get smart most supporters realise you have been one of our best players this season, but seeing chances missed by the team is frustrating.
Spot on WC. I appreciate that players are humans and have feelings, but they are professionals and Bamford is well paid. Now I'm not a Bamford basher, and I know he does a lot of stuff off the ball, but he is paid to put the ball in the back of the net. He isn't and should IMO be dropped because let's be honest, if he's scored half of his chances we'd be running away with this League. The problem is that up until last week we didn't have any replacement forwards. On a positive note, we are still hanging on in there.<ok>

We've lost 9 point we should have won, out of our last 12,what’s to lose by giving him 15-20 minutes, we could lose, ow hang on.

Augustin - Just read we paid £1.5m to loan him and his entire wage of £35k a week on top. Bielsa spoke to him and he wanted to work with Bielsa to improve him, I’d imagine we’ll see him soon, if not Radz might have a few words to say

He's had better support than any player at Elland Road this season, if that's not good enough then he's too needy and needs to go. We've blamed every player in the team, fans the lot for Bamford not scoring, it's time to call a spade a spade imo.

Let me guess your treatment

prednisone x 8 tablets once a day x 5 days, then start reducing them slightly.

Obviously that doesn't work, so the Doctor does a Bielsa and tells you to take exactly the same again for your next course.
I was put on different anti biotics for each course. I was sent for an xray and it came back clear, but the pain in my side from the cough got so bad that I went a week later to the a+e and after another xray I was told it was broncitis. <wah>

You’re asking me and again, if it were down to me with my limited knowledge and going by Wiki I would have had him on the bench. I agree with Jammy, it would have been the buzz created over a new player as much as anything but it wasn’t down to me. I have to trust Bielsa who has more knowledge and who has spent a few days with him.

Fair enough mate, I don’t know why these players do not play. Orta finds them, Bielsa watches the footage and okays the signing. Personally I think we’re miles better than any team in this division with a huge BUT we don’t convert the chances.

I disagree average managers beat him tactically, they just get lucky. You can’t account for a striker or attacking player missing from 6 yards out, you can’t account for keeper errors. You can’t say the Wigan coach was a better tactician, they dug a trench, got two shots in and scored with one.

They had 24% possession and two shots, we had 18 and only 5 on target, we had the ball in our possession another 10 times in the 6 yard box and did nothing with it. It’s frustrating, it’s infuriating but the players don’t miss on purpose. If you’re looking for a realistic answer it’s nerves and confidence.

WBA look at the talent they have yet they’ve slipped up just like us

I think you should flip the coin and look at the other side Ristac,

If a team has 2 shots on target, and score 1 or 2 goals to beat us, and we have most possession and better football, with 18 shots and 5 on target, and no goals scored then the other team are doing something better than we are, which comes down to their coaches tactics.

I agree tactically Wigan didn't beat us, it was a lucky goal, had we had someone on post (Berardi would've probably been there) but they got there goal and stopped us scoring.

Tactics isn't just about the opposition scoring on counter or on a quick break, it's how they defend against us. Most, if not all teams now seem to know we try to walk ball into net, so they pack their penalty area, that's a tactic outsmarting Bielsa, cos Bielsa never changes.

They have only 2 or 3 shots at our goal, but score enough to beat us, that's a tactic outsmarting Bielsa.

Other teams now know how we play cos Bielsa never changes, in other words, Bielsa is transparent and predictable, he sticks to same pattern game in game out.

While we can see our football is good football, and we have most of possession most games, it's predictable to other teams.

They know about Bamford, Harrison, and Ayling going too far forward etc, they do their homework as well.

Other teams advantage is, Bielsa is predictable and never changes.........and very very stubborn.

I pointed these things out at beginning of season, and halfway, copped flack for it, now people are talking about what I talked about at beginning of season.
