Agree, but he will need to be carefully managed. Somehow don't see Bielsa as the 'hugging' sort of coach.
Would have probably come on at some stage today as Bamford ran all game but Cooper and Shackleton injured and then in the 2nd half needed to tighten up meant had to use all our subs. But Bamford was fantastic leading the line today - deserved MOTM performance. Nketiah will get his chance but def side before self night tonight.
He’s kind of getting better at that and he made a point of ‘hugging’ Roberts when he came off and explaining to him why after he came off and then has just spent most of the Sky post match interview explaining that the substitution was tactical and not anything to do with Roberts performance. Plus there’s a pretty good template with Kalvin for being subbed off early not being a problem.
Costa improved a bit tonight, White Solid and Bamford ran his socks off, Berardi was solid when he came on too and I’d like to see Ayling start the next game, I think Dallas will be moved to LB. Klich was awol second half and I’m not one to usually complain about the ref but he was awful with several fouls he never gave. On another note... One of our coaches was booked shortly followed by Bielsa. Apparently if a coach speaks out of turn and deserves a yellow and the ref doesn’t know who it was, the rule states the manager or head coach takes it for the team
I just checked and we've played at least 5 of the top 10 plus Derby, who should be there or thereabouts at the sharp end, and we're top or only 1 point back I'd Swansea beat Charlton away which isn't a given. How is Nathan Jones still in a job?
I wouldn’t mind Dallas replacing Harrison next game, I think he’s been great for us for a few months now but I prefer him on the left.
As far as player ratings go, Birmingham Live felt their mom was their own Keeper https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...-news/west-brom-player-ratings-leeds-17015715
Bet365 say its not an own goal - it was Alioski Can't actually find anywhere to say it was an own goal apart from tv coverage
If only you had a EU pension like Blair, Kinnock, mandelson etc, you wouldn't miss a tenner, hell, you could put it down to expenses
The link to the player ratings, read the Bartley score, says there it came off him, on the replays it was never going in without the deflection
If it hadn't I think Bamford would have got to it and if he had actually managed to direct it towards goal he'd have been off side so thanks Kyle, we owe you.
