That was a squeaky bum game from start to first, as soon as Pablo scored.

We fought, outplayed and out commited WBA from whistle to whistle.

We scored 4 good goals, Pablo's was great, from open play with no luck involved, and, we had a couple of players willing to shoot from edge of box.

Pablo has shown what can happen if we take a few more long shots.

They had 1 (one) shot on goal
We pissed all over them FFS

Alioski deserved his goal, but sky had it right tonight Roberts was outstanding.

Agree, and he was awful against QPR. He will be a real force when he finds a bit of consistency - and it's easy to forget he's only 19 with all the pressure on him.

Honestly have to agree with you for a change (it does happen!).

Too often in recent weeks we've been so reluctant to shoot from outside the area. I can't imagine this is something Bielsa is specifically telling the players to do, so I can only assume it's just that they're lacking in confidence and they're overdoing it. Even when we're in the area we want to play that final pass, it's infuriating at times!

Bamford has been threatening a performance like that for a few weeks though, he is always looking to shoot and today he managed to get the goals his performance deserved. It was so refreshing to see us hit the target more often and not be scared to have a go without needing 436 passes first. Hernandez set the tone from the first minute, but Roberts was absolutely outstanding today.

Add in the fact that Dallas, Berardi, Douglas, and Brown (if he ever plays) are back, and it's all looking positive after a poor midweek result.

It's going to be tough, but a few more performances like that and we won't be far away.

just realised now i'm back from the clouds it's not just the three points, but how it's improved our goal difference,i think it might be better than WBA now but don't quote me

I think when someone on here mentioned our terrible goal difference recently and that you don’t get autos with a goal difference like ours, one of the smarter posters here pointed out that a 4-0 win against West Brom would give us a better goal difference than them. <whistle>

Pleased to say that in the results poll you all got it ****ing wrong.;)

Well, I'm away to a fancy holiday destination 5am, It'll be interest

is he really only 19 ?

Roberts has great touch and balance... today he found some space and played with his head up... in a big game with a lot of pressure in a really pivotal position.

He’s going to be a real player when he finds some consistency.
