True but with this team promotion seems unlikely.

No away wins for almost a year !
    Should be really though .

Not saying having no shots is a good thing though and we must win next week .

I like our new manager, I like what he is trying to do, I like that he communicates honestly and well with the fans and press. He is building a new team with many youngsters and getting them to play in a different but entertaining way without fear. He says it is a long term project which I hope he is given the time to either fulful or fail. My worry is the Pozzo's short term attitude to managers, unless they have committed to give Ismael time. I hope so and that some recent results will not make them consider his position.

Well it has been reported they might give him a new contract but that seems a bit extreme .

Just let him get on with the job unless it really goes badly wrong .

Which will probably be down to the lack of quality and depth in our squad - due to poor recruiting by others.

Guys, how do we compare with the other sides you have faced this season?

Knowing Leeds fans probably was them .

Not sure a Watford fan would be that reactive tbh .

Was always going to be a tough game.

Maybe explains why we so don’t do well at Millwall then !

    Another hostile atmosphere.

Couldn’t agree more. Some results you have to take on the chin. He’s a decent head coach, he’s sorted out a very mixed squad and we seem to be pulling in same direction now. The football at the ground is generally very enjoyable to watch, if a little hairy at times! But I’m definitely a fan of Ismael.

Someone said in the week that Watford are playing a high risk game. I can see what he means. If the attacking leads to goals, fine, but when you are against an attacking side like Leeds, it does show up problems in your defending. Ismael has said many times now that his work is to try and improve a team of young players. That will take time, so setbacks can be expected.

t's ok to be outplayed - bad day at the office blah blah blah , but... I was shocked by the number of times we gave the ball away - in particular in trapping it in to the path of a Leeds player. The first half was awful. Couldn't string a move together. Weird that we were much better 2nd half and conceded 3 times. Bayo's miss at 2-0 was dreadful . If if if it had gone in, we might have put them on the back foot.
The Leeds fans in front of us were their usual selves. A grim day all round.

After listening to the game yesterday and watching Shef United v Newcastle today my only thought was There but for the grace of God go I

Going up last year or this so far would be an absolute disaster we missed a bullet last season

The first two time we went up via the Playoff finals we were at times outclassed but never outfought we always went down fighting thinking we were a bit unlucky there but I cant see that with the current squad even with Pep in charge, we need to rebuild and develop a young hungry side who will fight for every ball

Change of sport, anyone watch Australia v Wales, made Sheffield v Newcastle look a close tight game

Are Australia a nation that take rugby seriously or are they just there to make up the numbers???????

Well they have won the tournament twice and made a few semi finals and finals .

It’s probably like Germany going out of the football WC at the Group stages.

But I think Rugby league is more popular.

Yes we would have been totally useless playing wise although the money would have been handy .

I gave Stream UK a blasting about the appalling service they provide to us who pay to buy the Hive coverage. This time I was less polite than on previous occasions, and it has worked, as they are going to reimburse me.
