We are useless when pressed and why we continue to play sill balls between keeper and any defender is a joke. We pile pressure on ourselves because we are not hitting our passes. We could have conceded 2 from playing toppy tappy at the back. When pressed launch it ffs.

if only we could put 4 passes together we would be well in front and they would have to change tactics. If only Roberts was a striker, if Raphinah had shot a few seconds before getting tackled. We have more possesion but watch in the 2nd half when Minimino and Ings come on.

We’ll surely we can’t play worse second half. The first 25 minutes I’d have not been shocked if Bielsa had hauled both Dallas and Ayling off, I bet their pass percentage was under 25%

Only positive is Llorente has so far lasted 45 minutes but I can’t say I’m impressed with him either. I accept the pitch is poor but we need to stop giving the ball away.

We’re the home team, we know what the pitch is like, prepare for it, set our game up knowing what it’s like, don’t play like we’ve never stepped foot on the turf before ffs

We have been sh*t though. Never been sure about us with 3 at the back... our defenders never seem comfortable with it, their uncertainty seems to impact elsewhere on the pitch.

I understand he likes 1 man spare but sometimes feels like mb’s insistence on dictating formation by opposition line up impacts us negatively

Southampton are playing so high that theres no space in midfield. We need to look for the kind of ball that set Raphinha free but finish it.
We could do with some serious pace up front
