Ironic cheers for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez as he claims a deep free-kick from Wolves. Unfortunately, those cheers came from the Matthew Harding End filled with his own supporters. It shows that pressure is mounting on Chelsea's number one after a number of high profile errors.
Always thought he looked good for Brighton but you’re probably right, with their scouting network I’m sure they had better
Well he played 87 out of 114 EPL games times in his last 3 seasons at Brighton, whilst Jason Steele played 16 times during the same period and Matt Ryan played 11 times, so whilst I am sure he was 3rd choice for Brighton at some stage, I would say he was first choice for the 3 seasons prior to his transfer to Chelsea
Well there's the problem then, trusting TalkShite to give factual information. Ring them up and tell them I told you they are talking ****e Prior to those 3 seasons where he was first choice, he spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Rochdale and the season before that on loan at Forest Green, but from 2020/21 season he was Brighton's first choice keeper. In his last season at Brighton he only started 23 games until he got injured and missed 5 games with Jason Steele deputising. Steele remained in goal for the final 10 games of the season, with Sanchez on the bench for those games
