Attempt missed. Joël Piroe (Leeds United) left footed shot from outside the box misses to the right from a direct free kick.

If there was four hours we wouldn’t score. A mid table performance from a mid table outfit

Well on that effort we didn't sign him for his dead ball ability.

The issue is we keep trying to thread balls through the middle of a packed defence, very little for the strikers to feed off.

Gnonto seems to me to be the only one willing to try and go past a man, everyone else just lays it off, so we end up getting nowhere

Well....that's what happens when you send your most creative player on loan.

sorry but that was shyte again. so predicable and toothless no umph. plenty effort just can't create a opening. we simply can't play against parked bused teams. plenty huff and puff but very limited openings. can't even remember testing their keeper. more points dropped against a very poor side.

I would say Southampton were spanked by Sunderland. Probably won't get top 2

rutters attempt was beyond pathetic, that should have been buried and the points in the bag.........think djed is going to be a great addition, quick feet and bit of class about him........let's be honest we all know the score regarding pointless teams and us, we're just to loving and like to help out <smooch>

    Good afternoon everyone.
Just watched the last 20min, gonna state the bloody obvious now, christ we have trouble breaking down teams that park the bus, were just not clever enough to unlock them.
Much better against sides that come out to play football, ie Ipswich, so typical Leeds to beat the top side but can't beat the bottom one.
However one huge positive for me from the limited time i saw was Djed Spence fought for everything and never gave up on any challenge, gave 110%, so was my motm.

I only saw the last 15-20 mins but from what I saw we're just way too slow. When you get teams who put 9 behind the ball you need to move it quickly whenever you get a chance to break them. We just fkd about with it until they reformed.
You also need to be clinical whenever you get a chance, We'd have scored loads if it was rugby.

Rutter is not a centre forward.

Meslier - 7. Had a bit of work to do on the quiet. Sheffield probably had the better chances. Kept his first clean sheet in living memory.

Ayling - 7. Had a good game. Great engine, covered alot of ground. End product was frustrating. Defensively OK.

Rodon - 6. Did OK. Held his own but it the ball over the top beat us too many times.

Struijk - 5. Same as Rodon. Same old positional mistakes and a couple of stray passes but overall did OK with the ball.

Shackleton - 4. Buy a ****ing left footed ****ing left back. Physically 2nd best against a robust Sheff Wed side. Good engine but didn't seem too much connection with Gnonto.

Ampadu - 9. Great game. Bossed the midfield. Reminded me of Kalvin under Bielsa. Man of the match.

Gray - 6. Kept us ticking over but never really threatened the Sheff Wed defence. Sloppy on the ball once or twice put us in trouble. Got to remember he's just a kid.

Gnonto - 6. Loads of possession. Did nothing with it although the threat was there. Another sulky afternoon. Needs to get a grip and stop waving his arms about.

Summerville - 6. Probably get a better score in the media. Great acceleration, great control, couple of great passes and looked most likely to open the door. Very frustrating as he always wants that extra touch. Faced with 3 defenders he'll still try to dribble through instead of popping it off to others. In other words, looks great, nothing to actually show for it. Give him a ball to play with on his own the selfish little..

Piroe - 2. Awful. Farkes fault mind. You don't buy the leagues best striker then play him in midfield. Game completely passed him by and the dithering and dallying of the other three around him robbed him of any ball.

Rutter - 4. Decent movement. Shocking finishing. No end product. Another one thinking he's in the playground trying to take 3 or 4 men on at once. He's no striker.

    Subs.

Spence - n/a. Took over from a shattered Ayling. Only got 5-10 minutes though.

Kamara - n/a. Got 3 minutes to make an impact.

Farke - 0. Dunno what system it is, dunno why we keep running blindfold in to a low block, dunno why we don't use 5 subs when we are clearly tired. Dunno why we play the leagues best striker too deep. Dunno why we don't cross the ball. Dunno why we don't set traps to draw teams out.

49ers - 0. That's what you get when you don't invest at this level after selling your best players. A completely unbalanced mid table squad. Promotion push will be over by January you ****s.
