Anybody else going tomorrow night? If so and you're about for a pint let me know, it'd be great to put a face to some of the local names.
I'll be there Davy...just trying to work out a plan for a post match drinking session. Anyone else interested ?
I'll be there, but not drinking. Might struggle to meet up before the match, but happy to meet somewhere after & offer my taxi services if you want to hit the town. Just let me know where & when. Got a hectic day coming up tomorrow, so don't expect an immediate response.
Be great to see you again Jock. I'll try to keep it casual ahead of the game as I want to remember it!
ROFL. I do my football drinking with the Tartan Army. Usually had to make do with photos & receipts to find out what happened the night before, but made a discovery in Vilnius - Google maps. Didny realise that it tracks your every move & archives it. If you look back to a date it'll tell you where you went, how long it took, how long you were there etc. First time I looked at it, I discovered that I went to a particular pub, left for 5 minutes & returned. It actually triggered a memory why - there was a big queue at the lavs, so went outside to pee in the square. Very civilised, eh? Google also helps to find out how the game went - next day. So what's your itinerary, Davy? Will try to catch you as early as I can. Btw, if Marcos is going, his pre-match haunt is usually at the top of the stairs at the back of the Peacock. Think Wakey goes there too.
I'm easy bud, Jammy is talking about meeting up in the Peacock after the game - be great to catch you if it worked out.
I'll lurk for Marcos/Wakey and do a trick or treat number then Jock. Jammy is talking about meeting in the Peacock after the game if that works.
Ahhh you feckers. Had convinced little man we can miss this one, have to work tomorrow and 200 miles is a long way in anyone’s book but sorely tempted to surprise him now
Been reading that TC is apparently toying with 3 at the back against the Blades. Normally I might be fine with that, but with Pontus off the boil, that leaves Cooper & 2 out of 2 kids & 1 part-timer. I can't see this happening, but if it did, I'd be very uncomfortable with it. I can see Cooper being ok with a 3, but the others? * Pennigton - good, but inexperienced, and possibly never played competitively in a 3. * Shaughnessy - even less experienced, & even less likely to have played in a 3. * Ayling - more experience than the other 2, & more likely to have played in a 3, but how many years ago is this based on? So I suspect its a ruse by TC. I fully expect a 4-2-3-1, & will take a guess at this line-up: Lonergan; Ayling, Pennington, Cooper & Anita; O'Kane, Phillips; Alioski, Saiz, Roofe; Lasogga. That's the line-up I expect, but tbh, would prefer Dallas instead of either Alioski or Roofe. Even better would be a 4-3-3, including Dallas & Viera, but don't think Dallas would start. For a 4-3-3, I'd guess the line-up would be the same (Berra excepted) as Bristol: Lonergan; Ayling, Pennington, Cooper & Anita; O'Kane, Phillips, Viera; Alioski, Saiz, Lasogga. Thoughts? EDIT: Just a thought - wonder if Anita has blotted his copybook sufficiently for TC to think about Dallas at LB?
200 miles is nothing to a hunky, good-looking alpha male like myself Then again, if I had been atrophying too long in the south .....
I know mate and that’s the issue. Play it cool ALL LEEDS AREN’T WE? Likely see you tomorrow - just got to mention it to errin
