Meslier 7, now that’s generous his distribution is shocking, the saves he made were run of the mill saves, he cannot catch a ball, the defence do not have full confidence in him, if he had let them saves in then big debate, this rolling the ball with his studs will be his downfall pretty soon. Firpo 8 ???? He was lacking pace and got caught a couple of times, better teams will punish us down our left. Rest were fair evaluations
Was booked up for last game of season but looks like that and much more gone up in smoke. My 91 year old dad’s health has failed considerably and my wife and myself. And daughters are caring for him after moving him into our home. It means no more overnight trips for me while situation is this way. A big blow but such is life. You never know what’s around the corner
Okay. I throw in the huge caveat that I didn’t see the game today as I was working so the dig out of Firpo might be warranted but some general observations. 1. Our unbeaten run seems to coincide with his return to the team. 2. He is at least a FLFFLB. 3. He seems to have contributed to quite a few of our goals lately. 4. He was outpaced? Can’t really be faster than he is. 5. So far only Leicester and Southampton are better teams than us so he should be fine for most of the season. Maybe get off his back and acknowledge the positives he’s brought?
