What would make a hell of a difference would be to have a quality finisher. If we’re to continue getting only one per game, it’ll be tight. I’m hopeful big Kev will produce something worthwhile after international break
The fight will be held in Las Vegas on the night of Saturday 22 February. This means that, depending on how long the undercard fights last, Deontay and Tyson will take to the ring between 4am and 5am UK time on Sunday morning.
I agree with you there mate, they are the scum of the earth had a few run ins with the ****s over the years, they've no bottle when they're on their own Didn't like Fury when he first came on the scene but his tv persona, and that's all it is I think, has grown on me, and I want him to beat Wilder, he is being coached for the USA media stage, but lets see what he is like when his career is over will he revert back to being like the rest of those ****s in their caravans, ****ing scum
Today proves Jka is a waste of a wage he isn't going to get a game unless Bamford gets syphilis and his legs fall off
That's not a problem mate I'm in rotherham with number 5.shes cooking and tried blending the soup. Trouble is the seals went and it went all over the worktop. Now she's been on the wines since half five. I've been banished from the kitchen for laughing. So we could be eating same time as the fight starts. Said to her call me when breakfast is ready. Good job she has a sense of humour.
I’ve followed his entire career fella. He says that every fight to sell tickets, then boxes and counters unless he knows the opponent is totally over matched. He knows he can win on points. Suicide to get in a swinging match with wilder.
I agree mate, its all about selling the fight, he's nearly as good as Ali was, I can't see him knocking Wilder out in two rounds, I think he's only done that once in his professional fights against Schwarz, its gonna be just like the first in my opinion
most likely bud. I’d have had fury points as the safe money before the weigh ins. Both come in quite a bit heavier... wilder it’s obviously deliberate (though might slow him down and fatigue him more) Fury? They say it’s a plan, but with him it’s more likely on his belly. That and the cut are the nagging doubts. Tough to call.
Another dominant performance with the usual amount of the chances going astray. We got there in the end with a individual goal from our talisman Pablo. Positives Pablo's goal. Pablo running the show in the 2nd half. The victory required & three points. Another clean sheet even though we made four positional changes with the substitution of Phillips. Won the game without Kalvin controlling the game from the back. Kiko's save in the final minute. Ayling, Dallas & White played well in two different positions. Negatives Missed chances, not clinical enough. We just can't finish teams off! Phillips injury (hopefully not too bad). Ratings 7 Casilla 7 Ayling 7 White 7 Cooper 7 Dallas 7 Phillips 7 Costa 7 Klich 9 Hernandez MOTM 7 Harrison 5 Bamford Subs 7 Alioski n/a Shackleton
What scares me is if big Kev is not fit, he needs to play to get fit. There was no reason why Kev could not have played the last 30 mins once we took the lead. He has been with us just under a month. Today - no minutes. Not good at all
Pretty much agree with that. I though Harrison matched Pablo in the 1st half, but Pablo excelled in the 2nd half. Prolly have given Harrison an 8, as he definitely shaded Costa imo. I don't think I've ever seen Pablo quite as involved before. Popped up everywhere, pressed better than ever, & got in a surprising number of tackles compared to his usual decent effort. Possibly one of his best performances, I thought, particularly given the weather conditions, which affected all of the players. I was fkin freezin! TBF, I think this was one of Costa's better performances - and White was definitely better covering for Kalvin. Would prolly give Bamford a little more. Not one of his best performances, but he stuck to his pressing when others fell off a bit at times.
