    Roofe
I thought Roofe was outstanding & unlucky not to get on the score sheet

A nice curling shot just over the bar in the first-half

Lovely header bringing a great low fingertip save from the Reading keeper which denied Roofy a wonderful goal

Our goal came from his persistence in the six-yard box with the ball finally falling to Dallas

His all round game running off the ball & his hold up play was impressive

    Pablo
Pablo made some passes/touches he excels at as he showed when involved with the build-up for our goal. Yes there were a few stray passes/crosses but he is a constant threat to the opposition & can unlock a defence at any given moment of a game.

Take him out of our team & you'd soon see how we'd miss him as was the case when Pablo was missing for eight games earlier this season

    Forshaw
Not positive enough for me, slows the game down with his sideways/backward passing

Hernandez also did so much tracking back and pressing, a great example to set

Yes all Douglas had to do is stay on his feet & stand his ground, no niggly push or tackle required, just see the attacker out

Thought BD was good going forward, defensively he was somewhat lapse at times, both Cooper & Dallas covered for him, Alioski tried in vain too!

Pablo works his socks off down the flank, so much energy considering his age

Think that’s Douglas full stop. Great going forward not so great defensively and lacks that yard of pace to get him out of tight spots so gets tight to people and roughs them up... hence the foul and card count. We look a much better side with him in it though.

Maybe it depends whether you’re rating them by their standards or overall value to team. In my view Pablo gave away possession a lot by his standards and his decision making was not up to its usual level. I don’t need selling on what he adds to the team, my point is he adds more when he’s on song.

Roofe I thought was excellent in the first half but even though we got a head of steam up in the second I didn’t think he was as influential. I’d agree with your assessment if foreshaw but on the first half only. Thought he upped the pace in the second.

    Opinions opinions!
