Still 88th minute and a great save for 3 points. He dives the other way and it's a draw and looks like a great penalty
Come on wakey. It’s ok to think BPF is crap but credit him with a good save when he makes one. It actually gives your negative comments more credibility when you make them. I know it doesn’t fit with your mantra that he’s a statue, but LL already has the copyright on fitting up the facts to the agenda.
That’s fine fella, it’s all about opinions at the end of the day and I respect yours. My point being when those opinions are fixed irrespective of what plays out it makes it look like an agenda not an objective opinion.
I don't know if he's got the ability to go to the top and would be interested *if* we go up if Bielsa would want another keeper for premiership. But have to say for someone we were getting rid of in the summer since being thrown in the team last year he's done so much better than the footage from the loan period at York would ever suggest. Credit to him for responding to it being public knowledge that he would have been dropped and credit to Bielsa for saying that and it not being an issue in terms of his performance.
Unless you’ve been a professional goalie for 20 years your opinions are of no value. Stick to Brexit.
You've obviously not read Marcos post,I'm starting to remember goalkeeping skills from a previous life
Another first 45 minutes wasted where we were lethargic & only half our team looked interested. Too much fannying around going sideways & backwards, not moving the ball quick enough & choosing the wrong options against a poor Reading side as we sauntered to a inevitable goalless scoreline at half-time. That all changed with the introduction of Saiz & Clarke for the inept Baker & Alioski. Why Bielsa started with Baker god only knows as he has done nothing to impress me in the U23's let alone considering him for our first XI, another one who can go back to where he came from, a sheer waste of space. As for Alioski, the man is an embarrassment Cooper, Phillips & Roofe magnificent throughout the whole of the 90 minutes & massive credit to BPF for his superb penalty save at the death :clape: the three points looked doomed after the reckless challenge from Douglas Positives Cooper & Phillips sublime at the back Roofe's relentless energy Dallas had a decent game Raised our game in the second-half Saiz & Clarke made a difference Magnificent worked goal Peacock-Farrell's superb penalty save, hopefully a massive confidence booster for the lad Three points Seven points better off at this stage than last season Negatives Too much sideways/backwards football in the first-half after a bright opening start Baker, what was that all about Alioski's dive, embarrassing Douglas's reckless challenge, almost blew two points Struggled to finish the opposition off when we were in command 9 Peacock-Farrell 8 Dallas 9 Cooper MOTM 9 Phillips 6 Douglas 6 Forshaw 4 Baker 8 Hernandez 7 Klich 3 Alioski 9 Roofe Subs 7 Saiz 7 Clarke 6 Shackleton
Pretty fair ratings on the whole... my take is I thought Pablo was off it yesterday (actually think that’s been the case for a while now) so he was more a 6, 7 at best for me, Forshaw came into it in the second half, worth a 7 overall. Roofe was good but 9 is generous.
Take it you've not seen a replay,went in from the side,and I just don't see a pen,clumsy looking challenge,but don't see a pen.
Think we get that. But when you start saying it was a crap penalty and give no credit for the save it makes you look like a WUM.
