So it could have been 0-3. If its the difference between sacking or sticking with tc its a shame he didnt let them in.
Check out who we were playing.. We fluked the ipswich win and have been out played and out battled in our last five games by a huge margin.
Now girls don't start falling out. Just a thought No manager plays his favourites when he's on a loosing streak. The problem we have is a manager who has not got a clue.
Ok, so here's my take on it for what it's worth. TC isn't stupid or inept, but we're about to find out quickly if can learn and develop as a manager. The last thing we should do is sack him in October with Leeds top 6, total nonsense. Stability please and a bit of perspective FFS. We were more competitive in the air today, if not great, and Lonergan was kicking long and mixing it up a bit, rather than having to play it out from the back every time - at least we know TC's starting to look in the right places. Of the few foreign players on show today, Hernandez and Lasogga were poor. Saiz however was a real pain in the ass for Reading, busy and awkward to play against all day, creative and always a potential game-changer - he won the penalty which should have rescued us a point. Dallas should be starting instead of Hernandez, Roofe did nothing all day and left Ayling exposed the whole first half.. Lasogga isn't the answer up front, slow, lacking menace and just not ruffling feathers. Hamburg were so desperate to get rid they agreed to pay 75% of his wages for a reason, and if he can't cut it in the Championship his career is over. Shame as his attitude over the baby coming was first class. Jay-Roy Grot may be the real deal in 3 years but isn't at the moment. So who would you bring in to sort the CF position? Rhodes? Ings? Mallik Wilks? Who? Radz has the cash, who do we spend it on to sort it out? We are not relegation fodder, that's just screeching for a reaction. Every good team will have a bad run at some point, and we just need to dig deep and turn it round. This group of players weren't expected to go up as Champions this year, but a few defeats after a great start and that's all forgotten and it's the end of the feckin' world again. It's not, get over it, and get behind the club - those players, this structure, this owner are Leeds United at the moment, whether you like it or not.
The fact you don't have the balls to back up your talk proves my polnt. Is that what you found in the forest, mushrooms.
The only thing stopping this lot and this inept coach from being relegation fodder is time. By christmas if TC is still here we will be. We are totally ill equipped for this league and it was obvious even when beating the might of sunderland and burton et al. The only reason we had a great start was because we played against poor teams and coaches hadnt worked us out. They have now.
I was slamming Pablo, I detest him in a Leeds shirt, I believe he is utter garbage, he might play one good game in 6-7 I don't understand you or anyone else calling for his inclusion, it is an opinion. Before the game you had Ayling in your starting 11 When the team was announced we see no Alioski, I assumed it was because he might need resting and I wasn't bothered as he has been poor recently. You were unhappy saying players should not be rested. After the game where we were poor, where Lasogga did nothing, where Hernandez was woeful with his penalty attempt you lay part of the blame on Ayling not being rested and Alioski not starting. Ayling who was in your starting 11 and who hasn't played for two weeks and Alioski who has been poor and maybe really did need resting. In one thread you claim a player who has played two International games shouldn't be rested (and he has played awful recently) but someone who hasn't played for two weeks should be. Ignoring the fact you don't want to see Anita start and if we have Berardi at RB we have nobody better at LB
you're only happy when we lose.Go walk with the trees every week and leave the supporting to the fans.
If you dont take your head from out of (the sand / your arse) you are going to suffocate. Sticking your fingers in your ears shouting lalala aint gonna work.
My fear is... Thomas didn't want some of the signings but was given them and expected to work miracles. This is the problem with a director of football, I'm not saying it can't work but I don't see how we can throw all the blame on Thomas. Your previous post is spot on
I think the manager has a problem certainly, to turn it round as soon as possible. Nobody was saying he was sh1t when we were winning. Screaming for a new manager is too soon and too easy when we lose a couple.
Think you're probably right Ristac, but he has to earn his corn now with the deck he's got. And in the end, he'll be judged by it - just think shouting for change in October with us top 6 is a road we've been down before, unsuccessfully.
