Not if, he was according to Bielsa going to be replaced by Blackman, is now clearly our No.1 keeper. No idea what we have planned for the transfer window.

Okay, of course he will continue to be our No.1, don't think I've ever disputed that, the only other choices being Huffer / Miazek (if spelt right). Think you may have twisted the words slightly, you have changed 'given another chance' to 'told him he would be back, pedantic I know but different meaning to me. Either way if Blackman had been fit would BPF now be playing 2nd fiddle? Agree will will buy / loan keeper as cover.

    You've lost me a bit...

Are you referring to the night of your premature departure ?

Sorry, I thought you were speaking about you favouring men in frocks with meat & 2 veg. Like priests, for instance.

Ok, perhaps a bit obtuse, but I laughed at my own joke! :) Someday someone will join me :)

This is the first match this season that I think we can win and I'm not nervous. But that's what makes me nervous.:)

I'm always nervous and never expect the win. It's why I miss Eire's gritty realism (not negativity). I need others to join me in the pessimist world. Far too many getting ahead of themselves on Leeds forums at the moment.

I'm like that every game this season but then it changes about an hour before kick off and I start convincing myself a point would be good.

That was my point though London. I'm always nervous whenever we play, even when 2 up. This is the first time in a long long time that I'm relaxed about a game.<ok>

 Well I would have taken a point against the Blades. Another tough game for our rivals tonight, something has to give.

It actually favours us for a change, WBA played on Monday and again tonight, after Villa they are away to the Blades. I think I want them to draw with Villa as they are on form and I don't want them gaining too much momentum

True and what a great late goal for Brentford against WBA. It's great that we can relax a bit and let rival supporters sweat a bit.

Only reason you are relaxed about tomorrow's game is because no matter what happens at worst we will still be second, with a fair wind we could even be top(or is this being greedy.
West Brom and Villa to draw would be a good result.
Not saying any more I'll only be tempting fate. :smiley-finger007:

For the first time ever I'm more confident of Leeds winning than us getting through a game without picking up another long term injury

For the last few games in the prediction above i have had us down to win by 3 or more. It will happen soon as long as we score first in the first 15 then feet up with a big cigar on

Our recent form would suggest otherwise.

    Since we last scored 3 goals which is nearly 2 months ago;

    P 12 W 6 L 3 D 3 GF 15 GA 12

So we have averaged 1.25 goals per game and conceded 1.0 per game.

Home form is slightly better but still wouldn't fill me with confidence of a big win.

    P 6 W 3 L1 D 2 GF 8 GA 4

So at home we averaged 1.33 goals per game and conceded 0.66 per game.

We're doing really well but hardly blowing teams away and the last time everyone thought we'd be in for an easy afternoon was when Birmingham came to town.

Forewarned is forearmed should be the mantra for today.

My glass is half full on this subject because i look at the chances we botched in the games we lost and the games we drew and even won. Thinking about some brilliant saves pulled off against Klich, Roofe, Alioski, Harrison and Pablo. Thinking about the post and crossbars hit from Klich, Alioski, Pablo and Roofe. Yes every team has periods like that but at some stage your luck changes and if one of those goes in the game changes and can turn. When we got beat we were playing the best football and their keeper pulled of a save, if that goes in we have a different game. It didnt but they scored and the game went away from us.....
