As if the Championship has nothing to do with money. Try stopping their wages for a month and see how many of the Leeds players or any other would play. TC writes some ****e sometimes Its all about money in all divisions to probably 99% of players, just different levels of it thats all. The PL ones drive fancier cars and live in fancier houses and their agents earn more, simple as
They should have their wages stopped after some of their performances. Of course there is money in the Champ/L1/L2 etc etc but the gulf between the Champ and Premier is huge. The Prem/football has been ruined by Sky money and rich arabs, I mean how can you even think of paying even messi 800 grand a week. It's not a level playing ground anymore, so in one respect for the moment Leicester are bucking that trend. TC does spout a lot of times but on this occasion IMO he doesn't....
But Leicester are bucking the trend. Surely thats what every proper footie fans wants to see happen at last. Two fingers to the established PL crap thats existed for two decades
Sort of one that can happily watch different levels from local pub league virtually and any age group and find entertainment in it. I consider that a footie fan. One who has no interest in any team other than their own, in my opinion, is a fan of that team rather than a footie fan. Different descriptions I use
Proper football fans stick by their club through thick and thin, they don't suddenly lose interest just because the season's dead - there's always something to learn even in defeat. The only interest I have in the PL is who'll get relegated, because that concerns us
Funny you should say that, but many years ago before my local was closed and apartments were built, the barman said to me. "You know what Shako, you are not a football fan, you're a Leeds United fan". So I do know what you mean...
Like I said Forza, different strokes for different folks and age groups. Im not the only one on this forum thats lost or losing interest either
Arsenal or Spurs is fine by me, if not them someone like Everton or Southampton would be good. Just not either of the Manchester teams, Chelsea , Liverpool or Leicester. For the record, I too have lost interest to an extent that I don't care if we win or lose, it makes no difference. I check my local team Northampton but that's it as far as results of other teams
Essex that's why myself and my kids hope Suderland/Newcastle and Villa go down because they are handy games to flight in and out to on the same day...
Leicester win the league or not, it's one of those everything in the right place at the right time, a one off. Next season probably bottom half, everyone wondering what's different and players leaving for the big money riches of those clubs we hate.
Very likely but still good to see what the extra 10% effort on the field can achieve. Thats what the other overpaid lot dont demonstrate often enough
WE ARE THE TEDS WE ARE THE TEDS WE ARE WE ARE WE ARE THE TEDS sadly our manager is crap the director of football is crap and chris ramsey is crap so its two nil to leeds as we havent got a manager
