I did not watch or keep up actually started a new book. Making 8 changes is stupid after losing to pompey. This is no time to experiment Farke is a dithering idiot. Too many times last season he just stood watching the game clueless. The play off final was the worst for me wrong tactics and starting 11.
The Rutter news is devastating after the last couple of results. Last night was a **** show. I do not understand changing so many. Start your first team then take them off when the game is safe. Winning is a habit, which is why Poetsmouth were so dogged, and so is losing. It was never a game to take for granted. Bamford was dominated by Clarke, literally a lump of an old fashioned CB. He spent the whole game whining and moaning that he was getting out muscled. He was never available in the box and even turned up on the left wing a couple of times. Joseph would have ripped him up, and the kid'smovement would have caused them nightmares, if Farke can't see that then he's lost. I don't know what Joffy's best position is but it definitely ain't RW! He's not particularly quick and he doesn't beat his man, that's even before you consider that he's left footed! I really don't understand the obsession with inverted wingers. Piroe doesn't offer us anything. Farke played all 3 of our slowest, least effective forwards together so I'd be amazed if he was surprised we didn't score. Aaronsson was the only one who looked lively. Boro were compact and disciplined in defence, giving us no options and no space, then when they got the ball they were quick on the break. We could have lost by 6. After half time Boro were on fire. We were no better than the same as the first half. That is all down to the team talk. Carrick and Wiodgate made a huge difference, Farke didn't. With Rutter going we're ****ed. You cannot replace him which is why Brighton triggered the release clause. Bugger.
Pretty much spot on apart from a few bits as if Bamford gets a 2 I’d expect Rodon & Firpo should be the same or similar. I’d say Struijk & Gnoto should also be lower. Good manager but crumbled at Man U so can’t see him doing well here.
he should never had gone anywhere close to that job at the time, was a poison chalice to whoever took over. Think he's probably learnt a lot since then. Regardless though, like Potter, he's not managing in the Championship
There are no excuses, my friend. I’m simply expressing my opinion. I’ve never been interested in this cup, and I think it’s a good thing we ended it early. Hopefully, this will allow them to focus more on the league and reduce fatigue and injuries. If they play like this though, we are going down, not up!
Denmark manager who resigned after they were beaten by Germany. Bookies favourite for Southampton job at even money Know nothing about his club career, other than what I read on Wikipedia., nothing stood out to make him better than any other choice
Danny Rohl is favourite at 5/4 Depends on what you would call "any other choice" as I would certainly prefer him over the Lampard, Gerrard, Moyes and similar. It was just I remembered LeedsofLondon asking me to provide a name
When I checked the odds you could get between evens to 11/8 on Hjulmand, with Rohl between 6/4 and 2/1, and Corberan 13/2 to 4/1 according to odds checker. As for my "any choice comment" , I agree about Gerrard etc, and I admitted I know nothing about him. I only knew he'd been Denmark manager because I did an internet search, as before that I would have been replying the same as LoL with "who ?" What I would say though, if we had appointed someone other than Farke when we did, and we were having the same conversation, with the choice between Hjulmand and Farke now, I'd be backing Farke
Farke failed with a group of players head and shoulders above the rest last season. This season, he has once again started the season with the best group of players in the division. Compare what he has to what Bielsa had and you can see what an average coach he is.
Bielsas squad were no mugs either. He had the most important player of all in Pablo Hernandez. A player who could and did change many games with moments of magic. We have nothing like that at our disposa nowl. Gnonto Aaronson any of the strikers. Decent right and left back. Meslier average according to many none of that lot will make the step up if required so we’re no world beaters still
I'm not disagreeing with you about Farke. All I said was that without Farkes history with us over the last 2 years, if the choice was Farke or Hjulmand, then I'd have been choosing the guy with knowledge of English football, as opposed to the guy I need to Google to find out who they are, although I do appreciate that you were just providing a name in response to LoL
Leicester definitely had the best squad of players in the championship last season and judging by the comments about “barn door”, Piroe being slow and immobile, Joseph not ready to step up, Aaronson too weak and easily shoved off the ball, Wober a rat that doesn’t want to be here and a goalkeeper with one of the worst save percentages in the division that couldn’t distribute blankets to the poor if he worked for the Salvation Army, I might need you to qualify your assertion.
