On the basis Rad started over this season why dont you think he will do it again next year?
TC is not up to it IMO. I accept we MIGHT (not convinced) have better players but we look scared, and I am reminded of McDonuts playing style of three years ago.

If McGreedycnut comes back that will prove we are not going forward.
I'm open minded about TC he wasn't my first choice but he has my backing. This is Rads first full season, I don't see it that he has started all over again? Cellino signed the year long loans and Monk didn't wish to work under a director of football, Rads could do little about either.

Again I'm not convinced the director of football and coach route is the right one but is it any different to a manager getting sacked anytime after August and having to make do with what's inherited.

Cellino was a stubborn fool, Rads seems an intelligent guy, if it doesn't work I'm sure he'll reflect if his ways and means are right.

Rads first 6 months as joint owner did my head in, he was hogging the limelight too much but since Cellino left he's been pretty amazing. Even buying the ground back, no promises, no big build up, he just went ahead and did it. The signing of players, all in place before the season kicked off and some for decent money.

Anyway, next year/season is too far away, as a club I believe we are in a far better position than we were 12 months ago <ok>

Pc yer is vertically challenged <ok>
Isn't that Shaks? <whistle>

I remember watching a documentary many years ago when they preferred to be called PORGS - People Of Restricted Growth. Seriously! It was hilarious, as I recall. The condition, of course, is not hilarious, but some of the characters were - and not all intentionally.

Center Backs: Pontus, Cooper, Ayling, Pennington, Shaughnesy, CBJ = 6 all good on their day, all can be exceptional. We have enough cover in fact we have enough cover right through every position. Sacko & Viera are suffering because of this and hope Sacko proves he is good enough soon....

Personally I can't see how Phillips keeps Vieira out of the team unless TC doesn't view Vieira as a DM. From reports TC loves O'Kane so seems he will be permanently the first choice when fit.

Amazing that last night Dallas came on for 7 minutes and looked fantastic so it can be done, but Sacko comes on recently and makes a hash of something simple then runs into dead ends, pointless. Hope he recovers.

I had hoped Tommy would have looked at our best stuff last season when the players who were in the team for all our best results and games was: Viera, o'Kane & Pablo. He put 2 thirds of that in last night but my view is that Viera would have been better than Phillips? at least try it
I like Viera as well as Phillips, Doc. But there's something fishy about Viera this season. He keeps failing to make the squad, far less the team. And yet when he plays, he's fine (ish). I know that TC is on record as saying he's allowing for his england tournament & breaking him in easily, but I'm not convinced the (lack of) pattern I'm seeing fits in with that. Odd.

I do wonder if TC is insisting on pairing O'Kane & Phillips to provide a backbone in the team until we settle on a CB pairing. He knew from the start that it would chop & change, but couldn't possibly have envisaged our injury situation making it worse. Normally your stability comes from your CB pairing & goalie behind. In the (expected) absence of his, he's perhaps putting in the next best thing - stability in the DM pairing. Having read my own words, I'm not convince - but you never know! :D

From reading through all this, it's worth remembering that TC has not yet lost a competitive fixture yet this season and his team has scored one goal. Not enough for me to get carried away but enough to suggest he has done his homework on this division so is no Hockaday / Darko. Would expect to see some depart, I'd suggest the writing is on the wall for Doukara, never seems to feature. Last of the sick note six I believe.....I did warn him back on another thread.. Cutting the Cellino ties?? <whistle>
