Hi all ... second half fade was not a fitness issue, it was a confidence issue ... there seems to be a fear in the team when we don't have the ball, and anything into our box causes panic ... everyone seems to get it now, this team needs more leaders in it, players who can stand up and fight, and drag the potential "apprehensive" ones over the line with them ... after an excellent first half it was almost as if the team looked up at the stands and went "oh fcuk, I'm playing at Elland Road for Leeds United" and they lost their nerve ... the only way a manager can change this is to change players, bring in players who can cope with the (now over-used) phrase of wearing "the heavy Leeds shirt" ... let's see if Monk manages to get those signings that he's told us he needs into the club this window
Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 7m7 minutes ago Bingo - Liam Bridcutt to undergo a medical with Leeds United tonight. He's accepted a two-year contract.
Afternoon pal, I think Wood on the sidelines may be exactly what he needs. Fighting for his place, and not just expecting a starting position is just what the doctor ordered....
Afternoon Bucks. I liked Smith. Surprised he went out on loan last season and surprised he has not been snapped up by a bigger club than Fulham
