Did you invoice for that post....? But serious question - are you saying you would have no problem with club money, with fans money being used not to support the club, or even for pr for the club but to try and improve the image of the owner? Would you have been fine for Ken Bates or GFH to have done the same?
I think if it was the club's money, the invoices would have been splashed all over the papers. They weren't. Clearly an untraceable cash transaction. Which totally undermines my PR comment.
If it was a cash transaction then I imagine it would be impossible to even guess where the rolled up £20 notes had come from... please log in to view this image

As we’ve told you in the past, Cellino has became a hate figure amongst a lot of Leeds supporters for his bizarre antics, and regular sackings of managers. And now lifelong Leeds fan Scott Gutteridge insists he was offered the wad of cash to regularly post onto a fanzine group called ‘In Massimo We Trust’ in order to help boost Cellino’s image. In a remarkable interview, he told The Daily Mail: “I was told I would receive a nominal payment depending on activity and contribution. “It balanced out at £500 per month. The club felt that a positive influence from a small number of fans could go a long way and sponsoring this group would be worth their time. “This was nothing more than propaganda with the wrongdoings being covered up by the club using the Facebook group to counter arguments. Leeds is a club rotten to the core.” The club have quickly denied Scott’s claims, and denied having any knowledge of such tactics. In a statement issued via The Daily Mirror, they said: “There is nothing in this. But unfortunately, because of the hysteria surrounding Leeds, groups of fans don’t believe what the club say.” Ironically, Cellino suffers from a bizarre fear of the number 17, and the club currently find themselves 17th in the English Championship having only won once in their last six matches. Cellino has sacked five bosses since arriving at Elland Road in 2014, and by the looks of things, Steve Evans’ job is on a shaky peg. What do you think of Scott’s claims?
