We have a better squad & Manager than we did last season with arguably better backroom staff than was the case last season, thanks entirely to Cellino's money and powers of persuasion. Short us being bottom of the league playing rubbish and with the fans on the team's back, why do you think that Cellino might flip again? What's he done in the past month or so that would suggest to you that he hasn't learned from his mistakes of last season
Agree with virtually everything you have to say, except the insinuation that players reach a certain age and suddenly become incapable of developing any further as a player. I really don't understand where this misconception came from - do you not think Rosler is capable of developing Bamba or Antenucci's games because they're 30 (or thereabouts)? How many times have you seen players released at 31/32 for being 'past it', only to be revitalised at another club? Players of all ages are still capable of improving aspects of their game, although their fitness is obviously more likely to deteriorate with their increasing age.
I'm not sure if some have short memories or what but this pre season bears no resemblance to the previous three or four. Clearing out deadwood and replacing with all young home based players with a future. Previous plan was to sell the quality and replace with ****e. That's all down to Cellino. He made mistakes and was man enough to admit them. A top ten finish with a young squad will do me and will be major progress
His behaviour at York for one, his repeatedly flipping at caligari. What makes you think he won't? I would have £10 that we have three managers/head coaches or more this season.... Who wants to take the bet. Mike don't bother, you don't pay when you lose.
And then it'll be hold the horses till after the January window. You're in danger of becoming blinkered to anything good that happens grumpy old pal

Of course he could same as Liverpool spuds or anyone else can lose their best players. It's part of the modern game. Money talks as proven with sterling debacle at victim pool. At least if he does it won't be Albert step toe replacing him for once
Would this be the same Caligari who he kept up for years and went down first full season without him.
The same one that ended up playing in a scaffold stadium that holds 5000. The same one that averaged 3.5 managers a season. The same one Where cellinos bent practices mean him and the City mayor are very likely to jail time... You telling me you approve of how cellino treats the staff?
As a matter of interest grumpy have you ever enjoyed a season as a Leeds fan. Even the good old days when we won stuff?
Ironically my favourite season was when we lost to Charlton in the play offs and to cov in the FA cup. But I loved following the club in the wilderness years of the 80s. Enjoyed living the dream but didn't realise we would be still paying for it 13 years later.
But there was no social media then for you to vent your frustrations. Wonder who got the worst of it back then
The tinny that I was invariably holding on our travels. Ohh and most clubs provided facilities to take out your anger when it went badly.
I would suggest old way was best. Got rid of all frustrations in one go rather than getting wound up on an hourly basis. Think of it, you were unlikely to know what a Wally was back then
As a regular on away days I have known what a Wallis was for thirty five years. They used to leap out of shadows when we visited West Ham before is became a foreign country.
