I thought we ran ourselves into the ground, the passing was great, we attacked with speed and I hope we carry that into the next game.
Not going to get carried away because it's only pre-season and Everton were pretty poor on the whole, but some encouraging signs for sure. Wood showed some nice touches, and I thought Doukara put in a decent shift out wide. Defence looked fairly solid, although I still worry what state one or two injuries would leave us in. Nice to see midfielders willing to gamble by getting into the box - can see Mowatt breaking double figures this year. Still think we'll fall short of the play offs though, unless we get another 2 or 3 in.
If it's Dallas and Buckley (or another similarly talented winger) and we tie down Byram to a new contract, I'll consider the transfer window a success
And you were quite possibly the worst last season??? I think the majority on here have been content with the way things have gone since last season concluded.
Yep, Blackpool was a real eye opener to what happens when immigration and benefits are allowed to go unchecked.
Nothing wrong with being in a minority if you end up winning the argument though! If it ever happens to Mike he will dine out on it for years.....
Do they ? Who wants to play in the Portuguese leagues where apart from top 3 or 4 teams the standard should compair with our league 2.They played in the reserves league last season about the same standard as English none league.
Yeah I mean beating the Everton youth team must mean we are on our way..... Ffs the outfit we beat 16-0 last year would have given this Everton side a game by all accounts.
