That was just one dominant performance. Shame it's only 1-0 but Derby didn't even have a shot let alone one on target.

 

Harrison is so good in a positional sense but can't deliver the final ball. Bamford needs a lot of chances to score. Like 2020 said. I hope this doesn't come back to bite us on the arse. We should have a cigar on by now, but only one own-goal to show for it all.

 

Yeah and were all still worried about will we get a win,really let Derby off, poor finale balls from Harrison,phillips is poor at set pieces,Bamfords woeful finishing, i hope once again were not gonna get a sucker punch at home again.

 

Actually, I think Phillips free kicks have been good but his corners very poor.

 

First half performance was great. We dominated every area again.

First half hour Hernandez ran that game for us. They quietened him down the last 15 which gave those long cross field balls to Harrison the space they needed.

Phillips has been very good but the quiet man of the midfield Klich has been fantastic and would be my MOM for first half.

As mentioned Bamford is on my ****list now. His pressing made Derby lose possession in important areas but we just cannot afford to miss opportunities like the ones he has had. How he didn't get on the end of Hernandez's cross early on I'll never know. The scoop over the bar. Couple of early balls in with nobody in there. His reluctance to get across that front post in front of the defender. His one good effort was the one from outside the box which went wide, I didn't mind that too much. Surely 'pressing well' isn't good enough on it's own to get us up?

What are they feeding Dallas on? I want some!

I'd like to see Harrison get a decent delivery in. It's the one thing missing from his game.

This! His free kicks are very dangerous. Looks like he needs that angle to give him the edge. I think he put one decent corner in all half. Just hits the first man everytime. It's a fine line because if he just squeaks it over the first man it becomes exceptionally hard to defend. He needs to work on it.
