No I could lose £5 but that would still be £5 less than you.Can see you paying out by xmas, you know its only a matter of time.
You wish ! last season when I took the bet we were 19th and I said we would finish top 12 and we nearly did, would be the equivalent of me saying this season we will finish top 2.You know you've lost
Final reflection on yesterday's game. Regarding the tempo of the match we were our own worst enemies. We allowed the referee to referee the match as he wished, using his foam spray pacing out ten paces, another little squirt of foam and then a jog across the pitch to observe a standard free kick into the area. This resulted in around 10 mins of the total time played being wasted by the referees pedantic nature. There is nothing in the rules to prevent a free kick being played quickly without the refs whistle. I remember when Strachan first signed for us it was the first thing he introduced. He'd dash over, quick hand on the ball and then a quick free kick to get us playing again, never letting the opposition have a moments peace. If you do this relentlessly then eventually it will pay off as the tempo is high all the time and that leads to defensive lapses. You need to do it from throw ins and goal kicks as well. Green was especially slow with goal kicks yesterday which was frustrating. Usually the captain would have quiet word with the referee and explain how we wished to get things moving quickly and the ref would then understand and allow that to happen.
Absolutely agree with every word. Always remember Gary Kelly taking a free kick & kicking the ball into an empty net whilst Palarse were still trying to get organised.
Remember Strachen doing the same at Stoke, keeper came out to sort his defence and Strachen flicked it over them all.
