I agree with that and thats what the 170m will be needed for, to bridge that gap. Few teams go up without investing heavily when they get there. The ones that dont, usually come straight back down
Glory I disagree with you, and here's why... In the first 15 games we have had 6 clean sheets in the league. The whole of last season, we only managed 7. We are picking up points when we are not playing well. The youngsters like Viera and Phillips are coming good. O'Kane could be the bargain of the season. Green is showing good form after a shaky start We have not had a better defence since our Premiership days Roofe is starting to show what he can do. We need a good striker and another central defender as backup and we are play off material.
You are entitled to disagree with my opinion. Its too early to talk with certainty and i wasnt convinced by anything i saw yesterday. Burton are a poor side that could easily have been in front in the first half hour yesterday. The midfield looks very easily over run still.
We're anything but the finished article, and our midfield is certainly missing something, but after the worst start to a season I have seen in a long time, we are moving in the right direction, especially happy with 6 clean sheets.
